Old Bones is a level 65 mission in Star Trek Fleet Command, picked up in Wq’alia, that pays Klingon reputation. Two Klingon archaeologists, Dinlor and a colleague from the Imperial Archaeological Foundation, are searching for Molor’s Sarcophagus, and they hire you as protection against rival artifact hunters. It needs warp 1250 to start and to complete, includes one ship fight and a 10-hostile battle, and pays 57,500 Concentrated Latinum, 459,000 Raw Σ-Tritanium and Klingon reputation.
Old Bones objectives
There are seven objectives and no choice split:
- Set a course for LuchenmoH. Location: LuchenmoH.
- Scan Kinov. Location: LuchenmoH.
- Defeat the artifact hunter. Location: LuchenmoH.
- Set a course for Wq’al. Location: Wq’al.
- Defeat 10 hostiles of level 65 or higher.
- Proceed to Kruna. Location: Wq’al.
- Return to Wq’alia. Location: Wq’alia.
You overhear the two arguing: one wants proper permits, Dinlor wants to keep the dig quiet. Your scan of Kinov in LuchenmoH finds a temple but no tomb. Then two artifact hunters, Noel and Marissa, arrive, guess you are after the sarcophagus, and let slip that their people are already searching Wq’al. They attack; their ship is listed at about 4.5 billion strength.
In Wq’al, nine hunter ships patrol the system with one more over Kruna, which makes up the 10 hostiles. You beam the sarcophagus from a tomb under the Kruna temple, only to find it bears the arms of the House of T’Kurr, not Molor. The archaeologists decide they need a drink, and still pay you.

Old Bones starts and ends in Wq’alia, with stops in LuchenmoH and Wq’al. Both the start and the finish need warp 1250. The recommended level is 65, and the hostiles must be level 65 or higher.

Tips
The artifact hunter at about 4.5 billion strength is a light fight. The 10 hostiles in Wq’al are the longer part, and only hostiles of level 65 or higher count.
