Occam’s Razor is a Star Trek Fleet Command storyline mission in which you investigate the site of an attack for evidence of Romulan involvement and carry what you find to New Vulcan. The game lists a recommended level of 1; it starts at warp 1 and needs warp 70 to finish. One Romulanisch vessel stands in the way at about 1.97 million strength. The reward is 320 4★ Gemeinsame Battleship Parts and 10 1 Hour Repair Speed Ups, and it unlocks Our Past is in Their Future.
Occam’s Razor objectives

- Investigate the site of the attack. Location: Stradania.
- Defeat the Romulan vessel. Location: Stradania (enemy strength ~1,969,977).
- Bring the data to New Vulcan. Location: New Vulcan.
The investigation in Stradania turns up a Romulan vessel, which you have to defeat before you can leave with the data. The mission ends when that data reaches New Vulcan.

Occam’s Razor and the missions around it
This part of the story deals with Romulan attacks on Vulcan ships, and it stays at warp 70 until Birds of a Feather:

Each mission pays a different resource, and Occam’s Razor is the one for Battleship Parts. Birds of a Feather is where the warp rises to 90.
Tips
If you fly a Battleship, this is the mission in the run that directly helps it: 320 4★ Common Battleship Parts go straight toward a tier upgrade.
Beat the Romulan vessel at full health. It is the only fight in the mission, and after it the last step is a trip to New Vulcan with no further combat.
The 10 1 Hour Repair Speed Ups are handy for the fights ahead. Our Past is in Their Future has you rescue a Vulcan ship from a Romulan assault, so keeping the speed ups for that mission makes sense.
