Occupational Hazard is a Star Trek Fleet Command mission in which you escort a controversial Rigellian Senator to Pune for negotiations and deal with an assassin on arrival. It can be picked up in any of 17 systems, including Gelvin, Bubeau and Wezen, and needs warp 13 to start and to finish. The game lists a recommended level of 1. The reward is 49,000 Parsteel. It is a two-step mission with one light fight, easy to fit in if you are already in the area.
Occupational Hazard objectives

- Escort the Senator to Pune. Location: Pune.
- Defeat the assassin. Location: Pune (enemy strength ~16,758).
Both steps happen in Pune. The escort gets the Senator there, and the assassin fight follows in the same system. There is no return step, so the mission ends once the assassin is down. Nothing is donated along the way, which keeps the cost of the mission down to travel and one repair.

Occupational Hazard is offered in 17 pickup systems: Gelvin, Bubeau, Aciben, Helvetios, Zeta Polis, Wasat, Zhang, Eizeb, Kosz, Todem, Eisenhorn, Kaus Media, Skyedark, Dalukerinborva, Bharani, Vemet and Wezen. It needs warp 13 to start and warp 13 to complete.
The assassin at about 16,758 strength is the only enemy, and it is the number to check your ship against.
Occupational Hazard rewards
The only reward is 49,000 Parsteel. Occupational Hazard does not unlock a follow-up mission.

Occupational Hazard is a middle-of-the-pack Parsteel mission. Crossfire pays twice as much Parsteel plus Koth shards, and Best Served Cold pays slightly more for the same warp.
Tips
Because the mission appears in so many systems, you are likely to see it while flying through this part of the map. It takes one trip to Pune and one fight, so it is a quick add-on to other work in the area.
Go into Pune ready to fight. The assassin comes straight after the escort, in the same system, so there is no station stop between them.
At 49,000 Parsteel, the reward is worth more to a player in the low teens than to someone further along. If you are choosing between missions from Gelvin, Crossfire gives the bigger return. More missions by level are on the Missionsleitfaden.
