The Klingon Warship is a level 68–71 Klingon faction hostile that spawns only as a Battleship, found in the KreeMaal system at warp 1525. It drops 6★ Broken Battleship Parts and 6★ Broken Survey Parts, raises your Föderation and Romulan reputation, and lowers your Klingon reputation. Bring a strong Interceptor: that one counter works across its whole level range.
How to beat the Klingon Warship
The Klingon Warship only appears as a Battleship, so bring an Interceptor. There is no hull variant to swap against between levels 68 and 71; the same counter works for every spawn. Class matchup matters more at this level than lower down, because a wrong-class ship gives up its damage bonus while eating the Warship’s buffed opening rounds.
For crew, follow the usual hostile-grinding principle: a captain whose ability raises weapon damage against hostiles, supported by Offiziere that add damage or survivability. At this level range you need developed endgame crews rather than early-game options like the cadets. Check the officer tier list for current picks, and remember that the best crews shift as the meta changes.
Respect its ship ability, Pen of Kahless: it raises the Warship’s Shield Piercing, Armor Piercing, and Accuracy by 75% for the first 5 rounds of combat, and ship abilities are always active. Its opening volleys punch through your defenses hardest, so either end the fight quickly or build to survive the early rounds on hull strength, because mitigation earns you less than usual while that buff runs.
Where to find the Klingon Warship
Every Klingon Warship spawn sits in a single system: KreeMaal, at warp 1525. That warp requirement puts the system firmly in endgame territory, so if you can reach it at all, the hostile itself is the easy part of the trip. All four levels share that one location, so there is nowhere else to hunt. Park your grinding ship there and chain kills rather than burning travel time between systems.
| Ebene | Warp | Systeme |
|---|---|---|
| 68–71 | 1525 | KreeMaal |
Rewards and what it drops
Every kill pays out in salvage and reputation at the same time. The parts are the headline: both Battleship and Survey flavors at the 6★ tier. The reputation swing matters just as much, though. Destroying Klingon Warships costs you up to 364,800 Klingon reputation points per kill while awarding 153,600 to 194,600 Federation points and 76,800 to 97,300 Romulan points, which makes this hostile a strong pick for players running the Klingon-negative reputation route. Ship XP also scales well, from 39,100 at level 68 up to 57,000 at level 71.
| Ablegen | What it is |
|---|---|
| 6★ Broken Battleship Parts (11,880–26,383) | Late-game salvage for upgrading high-tier Schlachtschiffe |
| 6★ Broken Survey Parts (5,940–13,192) | The same salvage type, for Vermessungsschiffe |
| Federation Points (153,600–194,600) | Reputation gain with the Federation |
| Romulan Points (76,800–97,300) | Reputation gain with the Romulans |
| Klingon Points (up to -364,800) | Reputation loss with the Klingon Empire |
Klingon Warship stats
Stats climb steeply across the four levels, so check the anchors below before you commit to a fight. The jump from level 68 to 70 is the sharp one: total strength nearly doubles and attack more than doubles, so a ship that farms level 68 comfortably can still lose to a level 70 spawn.
| Ebene | Total strength | Hull HP | Shield HP | Angriff | Verteidigung | Ship XP |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 68 | 24,793,827,644 | 19,502,586,593 | 13,001,724,394 | 7,313,454,606 | 1,228,217,545 | 39,100 |
| 70 | 44,810,950,851 | 32,058,024,588 | 21,372,016,393 | 16,467,385,430 | 1,628,544,930 | 51,800 |
| 71 | 52,330,541,116 | 37,738,706,544 | 25,159,137,697 | 18,982,084,196 | 1,899,534,800 | 57,000 |
Klingon Warship firing pattern
The Warship runs two weapon groups. A pair of Energy weapons fires every round for 167 to 204 million damage per shot, and a pair of Kinetic weapons fires every other round for roughly double that per shot. The Kinetic rounds are the damage spikes, and during the first five rounds they land while Pen of Kahless is boosting the ship’s piercing and accuracy, so the opening of the fight is its most dangerous stretch. Both groups crit 10% of the time at 1.8x damage, so budget hull for the occasional oversized hit. Time officer abilities and repairs around those early Kinetic volleys.
| Weapon type | Count | Damage per shot | Fires | Crit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Energie | 2 | 167,252,076–204,419,204 | Every round | 10% (1.8x) |
| Kinetic | 2 | 334,504,151–408,838,407 | Every other round | 10% (1.8x) |
The Klingons in Star Trek
The Klingons are one of Star Trek’s oldest species: a warrior culture from the planet Qo’noS built on honor and loyalty to one’s house. Their empire was the Federation’s great rival through the original series era, until the Khitomer Accords turned the two powers into uneasy allies. Klingon philosophy centers on Kahless the Unforgettable, the first emperor who unified their people, and the Warship’s Pen of Kahless ability borrows his name. Worf, the first Klingon in Starfleet, and Chancellor Gowron of The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine remain the culture’s most familiar faces on screen.
Is the Klingon Warship worth grinding?
Yes, if you are at the right level and want what it pays. The 6★ parts feed late-game ship upgrades, the double reputation gain (Federation and Romulan at once) suits anyone keeping Klingon standing low, and up to 57,000 ship XP per kill is real leveling fuel. The single-system spawn is the one friction point: everything routes through KreeMaal, so expect company. Bring your best Interceptor and plan around the buffed opening rounds.
