The Klingon War Forge is a solo armada target that sits in Klingon space at levels 61 to 70. It spawns as a station rather than a roaming ship, and it comes in Ungewöhnlich, Rare, and Epic tiers that scale its power and its payout. Kills award large amounts of Föderation and Romulan reputation points, with G6 solo armada credits on top depending on tier. To beat it, bring the strongest armada-capable ship you have and build up your isolytic defense before you commit.
How to beat the Klingon War Forge
This is an armada target, not a roaming hostile, so the usual hull-counter question does not apply. There is no Interceptor, Explorer, or Battleship variant to pick against; you take it on with one strong ship through the armada menu, or with a formed armada if your alliance wants to split the work. Raw power and survivability decide the fight, so field the strongest ship you can and pick the tier and level that match it.
The War Forge fights with two always-active abilities. Isolytic Mastery raises its isolytic damage by 150% at the start of combat, and Isolytic Countermeasures raises its isolytic defense by 50% at the same moment. In plain terms, it hits far harder with isolytic damage than its base stats suggest, and it shrugs off a good share of any isolytic damage you send back. Invest in isolytic defense before you attempt the higher levels, and do not count on an isolytic-heavy build to carry the fight on its own.
For crew, follow the standard hostile-crushing principle: a captain whose ability boosts damage against hostiles, backed by Offiziere that add damage or cut what comes in. Crews shift with the meta, so check the officer tier list for current picks at your ops level.
Where to find the Klingon War Forge
The War Forge spawns across ten systems in Klingon space, one level per system. It starts at level 61 in Buyq’eal at warp 900 and climbs to level 70 in Kro’vaz at warp 1700. The warp requirement rises fast at the top end, so check the warp column before you plan a hunt; the level you want may sit deeper than your ship can travel.
| Ebene | Warp | Systeme |
|---|---|---|
| 61 | 900 | Buyq’eal |
| 62 | 1000 | Xenoti |
| 63 | 1100 | Darklake |
| 64 | 1200 | H’Naah |
| 65 | 1250 | Wq’alia |
| 66 | 1300 | Nu’pogo |
| 67 | 1450 | PatLeal |
| 68 | 1500 | Dantak-6 |
| 69 | 1550 | Hegh’Qun |

Rewards and what it drops
Every War Forge kill pays Federation and Romulan reputation points at the same time, and the amounts are big: from roughly 271,500 Federation points at level 61 up to about 2.9 million at level 70, with Romulan points at half those figures. The rarity tiers also pay G6 solo armada credits: in the Daten, Uncommon credits appear on levels 61 to 68, Rare on 63 to 69, and Epic on 64 to 70. Ship XP is a flat 15,904 per kill at every level.
| Ablegen | What it is |

| Romulan Points | Reputation currency that raises your standing with the Romulan Star Empire |
| Uncommon G6 Solo Armada Credits | Tier-matched currency for the solo armada store, from Uncommon-tier kills |
| Rare G6 Solo Armada Credits | The Rare-tier version of the same credit |
| Epic G6 Solo Armada Credits | The Epic-tier version, from the highest-level kills |

Klingon War Forge firing pattern
The War Forge fires six weapons per round: three energy and three kinetic, all with identical damage figures, all active from the first round, and each with a 10% chance to crit at 1.5x. Because every weapon fires every round, there is no quiet round to recover in; your mitigation and hull have to hold from the first exchange to the last. The figures below come from the lowest-level record, and higher levels and tiers scale up from there.
| Weapon type | Count | Damage per shot | Fires | Crit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Energie | 3 | 9,196,121–9,680,128 | Every round | 10% (1.5x) |
| Kinetic | 3 | 9,196,121–9,680,128 | Every round | 10% (1.5x) |
The Klingons in Star Trek
Die Klingonen are one of Star Trek’s oldest powers: a warrior people from the planet Qo’noS whose culture centers on honor and the glory of combat. They spent much of the 23rd century at war or in cold standoff with the Federation before the Khitomer Accords opened a lasting peace, and by the 24th century Worf served as the first Klingon officer in Starfleet. The Empire fields some of the most feared warships in the quadrant, from the Bird-of-Prey to the Negh’Var, so a fortified Klingon forge station makes a fitting late-game target.
Is the Klingon War Forge worth grinding?
Yes, if you need Federation or Romulan reputation at the top of the game. It pays both factions at once, and the point totals per kill are enormous at the higher levels. The armada credits and the flat ship XP are side benefits rather than the draw. One practical tip: hunt the highest level you can clear without the isolytic damage overwhelming you, and check the warp column first, because the jump from warp 900 to 1700 across ten levels rules some ships out early.
