Grand Theft Otto is the Star Trek Fleet Command mission where the Augments steal the USS Enterprise and you chase it down. Pickup sits at warp 1, but the trail runs all the way out to warp 56, through four fights that end with the Enterprise itself at roughly 5.8 million strength. The payout is 90 4-star Ungewöhnlich Refined Gas and 180 4-star Uncommon Explorer Parts.
Grand Theft Otto objectives
Eight objectives, in this order. There is no choice split, so every commander runs the same route.
- Besiegen Sie die Hijacked USS Mayflower in Kor Na Ron (about 1,950,820 strength)
- Pursue the Enterprise to Duriana
- Besiegen Sie die Entführten Legionary in Duriana (about 1,969,977 strength)
- Continue the pursuit to Ifrea-3
- Besiegen Sie die Entführten D3 Class in Ifrea-3 (about 1,969,977 strength)
- Catch up with the Enterprise in Yarda
- Disable the USS Enterprise in Yarda (about 5,773,328 strength)
- Return the USS Enterprise to the crew on Vindt, in Sotavi
The pattern alternates: travel, fight, travel, fight. Each hijacked ship is a single target parked in the destination system, so there is no clearing of waves and no timer. The three escort kills sit close together in strength, which means a ship that handles the Mayflower will handle the Legionary and the D3 Class without any change of plan. The Enterprise at the end is a different problem.
Wo und welcher Warp
Accepting the mission costs nothing in range, but finishing it takes warp 56, and that number is the real gate. The route crosses Kor Na Ron, Duriana, Ifrea-3, and Yarda, which are Augment systems in the level 27 to 36 band, before ending in Sotavi, a level 41 neutral system holding the planet Vindt.
Check your warp range before you accept. Getting three fights deep and then discovering your ship cannot reach Sotavi means the reward sits locked behind a research or ship upgrade you have not finished yet. Warp 56 is the number to plan around.
Grand Theft Otto rewards
Completing the mission pays:
- 90 4-star Uncommon Refined Gas
- 180 4-star Uncommon Explorer Parts
Both are refinery-tier materials for the level range this mission sits in. The Explorer Parts are the more useful half for most players, since explorer construction and repair costs climb steeply once you are building 4-star hulls. The Refined Gas is a smaller top-up than a dedicated mining run would give you, so treat it as a bonus on top of the story rather than a reason to fly out here.
Tips
Bring a combat ship you would take against a 2 million strength hostile, and expect the last fight to need more than that. The Enterprise at Yarda is close to three times the strength of the escorts, so a hull that cleared the first three targets comfortably can still lose to it. Repair between fights instead of pushing straight through on a damaged ship.
Watch the territory. Kor Na Ron, Duriana, Ifrea-3, and Yarda are Augment space, and the systems around them are busy at these levels. The travel objectives are the exposed part of the run, since you are moving through hostile territory with nothing to shoot at.
Do the return leg last and in one go. Sotavi is the longest hop on the route at warp 56, and it is the only objective in neutral space, so once the Enterprise is disabled you can fly it in without expecting further interference.
For chain context, Grand Theft Otto follows Breadcrumbs and leads into Market Research. It sits in the Augment stretch of the story, which is where mission difficulty starts assuming you have a mid-game ship rather than whatever you flew out of the tutorial with.
