Tune Up is an early mission in Star Trek Fleet Command that asks you to bring your ship home and upgrade the Realta to Tier 2. It is recommended for level 2, needs only warp 1 to start and to complete, and pays 75 Tritanium and 5 1★ Explorer Parts. Completing it unlocks the next mission, Fragments. It walks you through your first ship tier upgrade.
Tune Up objectives
The story line reads: upgrade the Realta to Tier 2. There are two objectives and no choice split:
- Return your ship to the Station.
- Upgrade your ship to Tier 2.
No system is named, no hostile is listed and nothing is donated. Once your ship is docked, the tier upgrade completes the mission.
Wo und welcher Warp
Warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete. The only travel is the trip back to your station.
The recommended level is 2. The Tier 2 upgrade is the only gate, and at this point in the game it is a quick one.

All three are warp 1 Missionen at level 2. Nausicaan Ambush and Tune Up both pay Explorer Parts, which go into Realta upgrades.
Tips
Die Realta is an explorer, so the 1★ Explorer Parts from this mission and the one before it feed straight back into the same ship.
If the Tier 2 upgrade is not ready, check what parts it still needs. The Explorer Parts from Nausicaan Ambush are meant for this step.
