Nausicaan Ambush is one of the first combat missions in the Star Trek Fleet Command storyline, recommended for level 2. You defeat a Nausicaan ship and then Barlack’s ship, both at about 143 strength. It needs warp 1 to start and to finish. The reward is 50 Tritanium and 10 1★ Explorer Parts, and completing it unlocks Tune Up. It is a quick pair of easy fights that sets up your first ship upgrade.
Nausicaan Ambush objectives

No system is named for either fight. The two ships have the same listed strength, so the second fight is no harder than the first.

Warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete, with no pickup system. The fights happen close to home.
The recommended level is 2. At about 143 strength, both Nausicaan ships are well within reach of a starting ship.

Across Through the Ranks, Nausicaan Ambush and Tune Up you collect 165 Tritanium and 15 1★ Explorer Parts. Completing Nausicaan Ambush unlocks the next storyline mission, Aufrüsten.
Nausicaan Ambush and the opening missions
The first Missionen of the storyline alternate between officer, ship and combat steps, all at level 2 and warp 1:

Nausicaan Ambush is the fight in this stretch. The missions on either side ask you to crew, train and upgrade rather than shoot.
Tips
Verwenden Sie die Offiziere from the previous two missions. Crewing Up has you assign an officer to your ship and Through the Ranks has you level one, so the ship you take into this fight should already be crewed.
Hold on to the 10 1★ Explorer Parts. The next mission, Tune Up, is an upgrade of the Realta to Tier 2, and Tune Up itself pays 5 more of the same parts.
