Turncoat is a story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you track down and destroy a Gorn traitor. You pick it up in Ok’Vak, it needs warp 31 to start and to complete, and it ends with one fight against the traitor at about 432,000 strength in Lipig. Along the way you bribe a colonist for information. The reward is 1,284,000 Parsteel. It is a compact three-step mission with a solid Parsteel payout.
Turncoat objectives
The story line reads: track down and destroy a Gorn traitor. There are three objectives and no choice split:
- Find the traitor on Gevuj. Location: Lipig.
- Bribe the colonist for the traitor’s location.
- Destroy the Gorn traitor. Location: Lipig. Enemy strength about 431,670.
Gevuj is in the Lipig system, and the whole mission happens there. You search for the traitor, pay the colonist for his location, and then destroy his ship.

The pickup system is Ok’Vak, a Klingon system, and the mission needs warp 31 to start and to complete. A ship that can reach Ok’Vak can reach Lipig.
The game lists a recommended level of 1. The Gorn traitor at about 432,000 strength is what decides whether your ship is ready.

About the bribe
The second objective asks you to bribe the colonist, but no amount or resource is listed for it. Have some Ressourcen on hand in case the step asks for a payment when you reach it.
Because it sits between the search and the fight, the bribe is also a natural point to check your ship’s health. Once you have the traitor’s location, the next step is combat.
Tips
Bring a combat ship that can handle about 432,000 strength. The Gorn traitor is the only fight, and it is the last step, so the mission ends as soon as you win.
Both systems in this mission, Ok’Vak and Lipig, are in Klingonisch space, and the traitor you hunt is Gorn.
Stay in Lipig from start to finish. All three objectives are there, so once you arrive there is no more travel until you head home.
The 1,284,000 Parsteel is a useful sum at the stage where warp 31 Missionen become available, and it goes straight into your next building upgrade.
