The Art Dealer is an early story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command built around meeting an enthusiastic art dealer. You meet Toryn’s contact, then decide how to handle a Yridian attack: fight the Yridian Bandit or deliver Toryn’s package. Both paths pay three Nächste Generation Data shards, with more Officer XP for the fight. The mission needs only warp 1 to start and complete, the game lists a recommended level of 3, and finishing it unlocks Junior Grade.
The Art Dealer objectives
Everyone starts with the same two steps:
- Treffen mit Toryns Kontaktperson.
- Deal with the Yridian attack.
The choice is framed with a single line of dialogue urging you not to let the attacker get his hands on it. You then pick one of two paths.
If you defeat the Yridian Bandit
- Defeat the Yridian Bandit. Enemy strength is roughly 221.
If you deliver Toryn’s package
- Deliver Toryn’s package to him on his planet.
No system is named for any step. The fight path is one battle against a weak enemy; the delivery path has no combat at all.
Wo und welcher Warp
Warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete, with no pickup system. The recommended level is 3, and the Yridian Bandit at about 221 strength is well within reach of a starting combat ship.

Either path unlocks the next mission, Junior Grade. The shards are the same both ways, so the choice only changes the Officer XP: 150 more if you fight.

Tips
Take the fight if your ship is ready. The Yridian Bandit is weak, and the extra 150 Officer XP helps level your first crew.
If you would rather avoid combat, the delivery path still pays all three shards.
