Awakening is the name of three missions in Star Trek Fleet Command. The lowest-level version is an early station mission with one objective: build Operations level 2. It stays at warp 1, pays 125 Parsteel and leads into Allies. A second level 1 version is a separate Crucible investigation out at warp 70, and a third repeats the Operations step at level 2. All three are covered below.
Awakening objectives
The story line asks you to upgrade the Operations building to stabilize the Station. One objective, no choice split:
- Build Operations Level 2.
No system, hostile or donation is involved. The mission clears when Operations reaches level 2.
Wo und welcher Warp
Warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete. The whole mission happens on your station.
The recommended level is 1.
Awakening rewards
The reward is 125 Parsteel. Completing it unlocks the next mission, Verbündete.
Operations 2 costs 50 Parsteel, takes 5 minutes and needs Parsteel Warehouse 1, so the reward more than pays for the upgrade. The mission before it is Senden einer Nachricht.
Awakening at other levels
The other two Missionen share the name but not always the content. One repeats the Operations step for level 2. The other is a full investigation mission far from home.

The Crucible version
This Awakening is about investigating the Crucibles reactivating. It is picked up in Sileo at warp 64 and needs warp 70 to complete:
- Find the reactivated Crucible. Location: Stradania.
- Defeat the scavenger. Location: Stradania (enemy strength about 1,124,459).
- Track the active Crucible. Location: Neu Berlin.
- Approach the Crucible. Location: New Berlin.
It lists a recommended level of 1, but warp 64 to start and a 1.1 million strength scavenger make it a mid-game mission. Completing it unlocks Das Zentrum des Universums.
Tips
For the station version, just queue Operations 2 as soon as you can. It is one of the first upgrades in the game and finishes in minutes.
The two station versions are the same task at level 1 and level 2, so you will only meet whichever one your account’s tutorial offers.
For the Crucible version, plan the route as Stradania first for the search and the fight, then New Berlin for the last two steps. Bring a combat ship for the scavenger.
