Unrelenting is a Borg story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you help Starfleet in a desperate defense of a colony in Doska. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 19 to complete, and the heart of it is two back-to-back fights against Borg probes of about 200,000 strength each. The reward is 345,000 Tritanium, and finishing it unlocks A Home That Only We Know. It is a straightforward combat mission with a good Tritanium payout for its range.

Unrelenting objectives

The story line reads: help Starfleet in a desperate defense against the Borg. There are four objectives and no choice split:

  • Try and save the colony in Doska. Location: Doska.
  • Defeat the Borg probe. Location: Doska. Enemy strength about 200,351.
  • Defeat the Borg probe. Location: Doska. Enemy strength about 204,300.
  • Return the refugees to your Station.

Everything outside your station happens in Doska. You arrive at the colony, fight two Borg probes one after the other, and then carry the refugees home.

Where and what warp

The mission starts at warp 1 and needs warp 19 to complete. Doska, a level 27 Federation system, is the only system you visit before the return to your station.

The game lists a recommended level of 1. In practice the two Borg probes, each a little over 200,000 strength, are the real test.

Unrelenting rewards

Reward Amount
Tritanium 345,000

Completing the mission also unlocks A Home That Only We Know.

Where it sits in the story

Mission Warp to complete Rewards
Our Fates Are Tied 19 A choice of 38,000 Dilithium, 188,000 Tritanium or 1,273,000 Parsteel, each with 2 1 Day Speed Ups
Unrelenting 19 345,000 Tritanium
A Home That Only We Know 19 33,000 Dilithium

All three missions finish at warp 19 and are listed at recommended level 1, so a ship that handles one can handle the stretch. Unrelenting is the combat-heavy middle of it.

Tips

Repair before you reach Doska. The two probes come back to back with no travel step between them, so there is no natural break to recover.

The second probe is slightly stronger than the first, 204,300 against 200,351. If the first fight goes badly, heal up before starting the second.

The refugee step is a return to your station and has no fight, so any damage left after the probes will not stop you finishing. The Borg page covers the enemy behind this story, and other missions by level are on the mission guide.
