Unmitigated is a level 56 story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you track down VESTA across three systems. Data is an epic Science officer. His captain maneuver, Positronic Precision, raises Critical Hit Chance against hostiles and armadas, and his officer ability, Effort Yields Its Own Rewards, raises Armor Piercing, Shield Piercing and Accuracy against non-player targets, including mission hostiles, by 60% at rank 1 up to 300% at rank 5.
One shard is not much on its own, but Data shards also come from other missions in this part of the story, such as In the Failures of the Past.
Where it sits in the story
The mission before Unmitigated is Devotion, a level 55 mission at warp 1 that pays 5,506,250,000 Parsteel, a 1 Day Peace Shield and 2,500 Ship XP. The next one, Unrelenting Aggression, is level 56 with a warp 160 finish, and it brings back combat with Borg probes of about 33.7 million strength.
