Treasure Hunt is a five-part Star Trek Fleet Command mission chain in which you help another Independent follow a trail of clues to a lost vault of Ferengi gold-pressed Latinum. It is recommended for level 46 to 47, the pickup is in ST-9417 at warp 110, and the last part needs warp 120. Each part pays Federation Credits and Federation reputation while costing Klingon and Romulan reputation, and Part 3 adds 158.4 million Tritanium. Expect fights between 9 and 12 million strength and a 726M Parsteel payment. It suits players who are building Federation standing.

Treasure Hunt Part 1
Another Independent is looking for a lost vault of Ferengi gold-pressed Latinum, and the first clue is in Klingon space. You pick the mission up in ST-9417, which needs warp 110 to reach, and warp to complete is also 110. Before you can beam Loomis down, you need 20 hostile kills of level 43 or higher.

The next clue is in Verin. After 15 hostile kills of level 46 or higher, you choose which planet to visit. Both paths pay the same, but one adds a fight. Warp to complete is 110.

You keep following the clues toward the vault. Access to Kato costs 726M Parsteel, and a target in the mining fields of Vita Nova has to be dealt with before you can investigate. Warp to complete is 80.

Treasure Hunt Part 4
The final clue is in Olorun, and it is guarded. This part has three fights in a row, all above 10 million strength, ending with the Corvallen Captain. The recommended level rises to 47, and warp to complete drops to 50.

Treasure Hunt Part 5
With every clue in hand, you scan for the vault in Alea and open it on Alea Prime. Ripa is waiting at around 12,250,268 strength, the hardest fight in the chain. Warp to complete is 120, the highest of any part.
- Perform a scan to find the location of the Ferengi vault (Alea).

- Return to your Station.

Tips for completing Treasure Hunt
Reputation is the main thing to weigh before you start. Across the five parts you gain 2,904,000 Federation Points and 3,500 Federation Credits, but you lose 1,100,000 Romulan Points and 4,670,000 Klingon Points. If you are working toward Klingon or Romulan standing, that loss can set you back.
Warp is the next gate. The pickup at ST-9417 needs warp 110, Parts 1 and 2 need 110 to complete, and Part 5 needs 120. Parts 3 and 4 are shorter at 80 and 50.
Budget 726M Parsteel for Part 3. The same part returns 158.4 million Tritanium, which is the biggest resource reward in the chain.
The fights climb steadily, from about 9.25 million strength in Part 2 to 12.25 million for Ripa in Part 5. Part 4 stacks three fights above 10.4 million back to back, so start it fully repaired. The hostile-kill tasks (20 of level 43 or higher in Part 1, 15 of level 46 or higher in Part 2) accept any hostile in any system. In Part 2, Path A skips the attacker fight for the same reward, so take it unless you want the extra combat.

Are the Treasure Hunt rewards worth it?
It depends on your faction plans. For a Federation-aligned player, nearly 2.9 million Federation Points, 3,500 Federation Credits, 158.4 million Tritanium and 330 4★ Uncommon Refined Gas are a good return. For anyone building Klingon or Romulan reputation, the 4.67 million Klingon and 1.1 million Romulan point losses weigh against it. Factor in the 726M Parsteel cost and fights up to 12.25 million strength before you commit.
