The First Pillar is a late-game Star Trek Fleet Command mission where you deploy the first Conduit Pillar in the Livi system. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 56 to complete. You deliver the Pillar, clear 15 hostiles in Livi and defeat the Convergence Preacher. The reward is 8,580,000 Dilithium and 110 4★ Uncommon Interceptor Parts. It is a single-system mission, so the fights are the whole challenge.
The First Pillar objectives
There are three objectives in a fixed order and no choice split, all in Livi:
- Deliver the first Conduit Pillar to Livi. Location: Livi.
- Defeat 15 hostiles in Livi. Location: Livi.
- Defeat the Convergence Preacher. Location: Livi. Enemy strength is about 7,227,080.
Once the Pillar is delivered, the 15 kills have to come from Livi itself. The Convergence Preacher is the final fight, and at about 7.2 million strength it is far tougher than anything in the hostile count.
Where and what warp
You can accept The First Pillar at warp 1, and it needs warp 56 to complete. Livi is the only system.
The game lists a recommended level of 1. The regular hostiles in Livi are level 39 to 41 Survey and Explorer ships, between about 911,000 and 4.3 million strength, and the Preacher is higher still. Those numbers are the real requirement.

Into the Void is a station upgrade that opens this run. The First Pillar is the first mission to send you out, and The Second Pillar gives you the choice between paying 6M Dilithium and fighting an Arkonian Soldier at the same strength as the Preacher.
Tips
Hunt the 15 hostiles in Livi. The objective ties them to the system, and they range up to about 4.3 million strength, so pick targets your ship can beat cleanly.
Repair fully before the Convergence Preacher. At about 7.2 million strength it is the hardest fight in the mission.
