Tattletale is a level 28 story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you stop a private investigator from revealing Mudd’s identity to their client. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 24 to complete, chasing Verner from Seevor to Yuma to The Principium with two Orion fights on the way. It ends with a choice about Verner: head home for 213,000 Tritanium, Latinum and crystal, or destroy his ship first for 1,830,000 Parsteel, 54,000 Dilithium and a 1 Day Peace Shield.

  • Defeat the Orion ambush. Location: Seevor. Enemy strength about 153,150.
  • Pursue Verner to Yuma. Location: Yuma.
  • Defeat the Orion Enforcer. Location: Yuma. Enemy strength about 133,290.
  • Continue the pursuit. Location: The Principium.
  • Decide how to deal with Verner.

Where and what warp

The mission starts at warp 1 and needs warp 24 to complete. The chase runs through Seevor, Yuma and The Principium before you head home.

The recommended level is 28. Two Orion fights of about 133,000 to 153,000 strength come for everyone, and Path 2 adds Verner’s ship at about 200,000.

Choosing how to deal with Verner

Path 1 skips the last fight and pays Tritanium, a little Latinum and 3★ crystal. Path 2 costs one more battle, against the strongest ship in the mission, and pays a large Parsteel sum, Dilithium and a Peace Shield.

If your ship came through the two Orion fights in good shape, Path 2 is the bigger payout by volume. If you need 3★ Uncommon Refined Crystal for an upgrade, Path 1 is the only way to get it here.

Tips

Repair between Seevor and Yuma. The two Orion fights are separated by a travel leg, which is a good moment to recover.

Tattletale is the last listed step of the P.I. story that runs through Tactical Deployment and Faster The Chase, all at level 28. The identity at stake is Mudd’s, and the Harry Mudd page covers him as an officer. Other missions by level are on the mission guide.
