Simulacrum is a five-part Star Trek Fleet Command mission chain in which you help Scotty test an experimental holotechnology prototype, only for the exercise to go wrong and leave you fighting your way out of a simulation. It is recommended for level 47 to 48, is picked up in Leebyrn and needs warp 120 just to start. Every part pays 700 Federation Credits and a large block of Federation reputation, but also costs Romulan and Klingon standing. Other rewards include 120 million Tritanium, 4★ refined gas and 600 three-hour speed-ups. It is a Federation-aligned chain best run by players building Federation reputation.

Tips for completing Simulacrum

Check the reputation cost before you start. Across all five parts the chain gives 3,483,000 Federation Points and 3,500 Federation Credits, but takes away 1,350,000 Romulan Points and 5,700,000 Klingon Points. If you are working on Klingon or Romulan standing, that loss matters.

Part 4 asks for 162M Tritanium, the only donation in the chain. Part 2 pays 120,400,000 Tritanium, which covers most of it, so do not spend that reward before you reach Part 4.

Warp swings a lot. Part 1 needs warp 120 even to pick up, Part 2 needs only 54, Parts 3 and 5 need 135, and Part 4 stays at warp 1. Plan around warp 135, and note that the chain has no choice splits, so every player gets the same objectives and rewards.

The named fights come in threes. Parts 1 and 2 each have three attackers of roughly 10.5M to 10.8M strength back to back, and Part 4 stacks the Swarm, the Borg Probe (about 12.25M, the hardest fight in the chain) and the Doomsday Worm. Repair between fights. The grinds are 15 hostiles at level 47+ in Part 3 and 20 in Part 5.

Other chains at this level are in the mission guide.

Are the Simulacrum rewards worth it?

For a Federation-focused player, yes. The 3.48 million Federation Points and 3,500 Federation Credits are the main draw, backed by 120 million Tritanium, 230 4★ Uncommon and 80 4★ Rare Refined Gas, and 600 three-hour speed-ups. If you are building Klingon or Romulan reputation instead, the 5.7 million Klingon and 1.35 million Romulan point losses make it a poor trade.
