Shackled and Sold is a Star Trek Fleet Command mission where you help Aivin win the bidding at an Orion Syndicate slave auction and then get the Sarpeidon natives to safety. You mine and hand over 2,500 Raw Latinum, escort Aivin to the auction in Orion, and finish at Osil in Asronal. The game lists a recommended level of 1, and completing it needs warp 85. There is no listed fight. The reward is 2,600 Latinum and a large batch of 4★ Survey parts.
Shackled and Sold objectives
Four objectives, no choice split:
- Mine 2500 Raw Latinum.
- Donate 2500 Raw Latinum to Aivin.
- Escort Aivin to the Orion Syndicate auction. Location: Orion.
- Bring Aivin and the Sarpeidon natives to a safe location on Osil. Location: Asronal.
The first half is resource work. You mine 2,500 Raw Latinum and give all of it to Aivin to fund the winning bid. The mission does not name a system for the mining, so the choice of where to mine is yours. The second half is travel: the auction in Orion, then the escape to Osil in Asronal with the natives aboard.
Where and what warp
There is no pickup system. Shackled and Sold starts at warp 1 after Age of Exploration and needs warp 85 to complete. Check that range before you start the escort, since the mission is not finished until the natives reach Osil.
The recommended level is listed as 1. With no fight in the mission, the practical requirements are warp 85 and a ship that can mine Raw Latinum.

The next mission drops back to warp 18, so Shackled and Sold is the long trip in this stretch. The Price of Silence carries the Orion Syndicate thread forward and pays the same rewards whichever path you take.
Tips
Mine the Raw Latinum before you do anything else. The donation and both travel steps come after it, so nothing else moves until the 2,500 is in your hold.
Use a survey ship for the mining and the same ship for the rest. Nothing on the route fights back, so a miner with warp 85 can carry the mission from start to finish.
The Survey parts are the bulk of the reward, 1,280 in total across the two rarities, so the mission suits anyone upgrading a survey ship. The mission guide lists every mission by level.
