Sanctuary is a short standalone mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you give a sanctuary on Nauud the resources to build a shelter. You pick it up in Cita Laga, find the sanctuary and hand over 10,000 Parsteel. It needs warp 11, there is no fight, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. The reward is 40 Recruit Tokens, so the mission is a straight trade of Parsteel for recruits.

Sanctuary objectives

Two objectives, no choice split:

  • Find the sanctuary on Nauud. Location: Cita Laga.
  • Give 10,000 Parsteel to the sanctuary.

The sanctuary on Nauud is in Cita Laga, the same system where you pick the mission up. Once you find the sanctuary, the donation completes it. No hostile is listed.

Where and what warp

Sanctuary is picked up in Cita Laga and needs warp 11 to start and to finish. There is no second system to reach.

The recommended level is listed as 1. The practical requirements are the warp 11 range and 10,000 Parsteel you can spare.

Sanctuary rewards

The reward is 40 Recruit Tokens. Sanctuary does not unlock another mission.

Other missions picked up in Cita Laga

Cita Laga has several other warp 11 missions you can pick up on the same visit:

Mission Warp to complete Story Rewards
Sanctuary 11 Give the sanctuary resources for a shelter 40 Recruit Token
Forced Out 11 Help Rigellian Traders chase Pakled Haulers from the sector 5,000 Parsteel, 1,200 Tritanium
Hos 11 Transport Doctor Hos to three systems with shared anomalous readings 80 Premium Recruit Token
The Excavation of Cita Laga 11 Mine a huge amount of Tritanium for the people of Cita Laga 5,000 Parsteel
Pandemic 18 Help Dr. McCoy with a pandemic on Minos Silma 2,000 Tritanium, 600 Dilithium

Sanctuary and Hos are the two recruit-token missions in the group. Forced Out and The Excavation of Cita Laga each pay 5,000 Parsteel, so running both earns back the 10,000 you give away here.

Tips

Check your Parsteel first. The donation is the final step, and 10,000 is a meaningful amount for the early game, so make sure it will not delay an upgrade you care about.

Any ship can run this. With no combat, a survey ship already out mining can take the mission on without going home.

Pair it with the other Cita Laga missions to make the trip worthwhile. The mission guide lists every mission by level.
