Lost Gorn Warship

The Lost Gorn Warship is a neutral Gorn hostile that roams open space from level 27 to 60. It only spawns as an Interceptor, so an Explorer beats it cleanly at every level. At the lower levels it drops Parsteel, and from level 42 up it drops 4-star Broken Interceptor Parts. Warp requirements climb from 25 at the bottom of the band to 225 at level 60, so plan your travel range before you hunt.

How to beat the Lost Gorn Warship

This hostile only appears as an Interceptor, so bring an Explorer. In Star Trek Fleet Command, Explorers counter Interceptors, and because the Lost Gorn Warship never changes hull class as you move up the band, there is nothing to swap between levels. Pick an Explorer whose tier matches the level you are farming, and it will out-trade the ship comfortably.

For crew, put a captain in the chair who raises weapon damage against hostiles, then fill the other seats with officers that add damage or shield mitigation. At the low end of the band the classic cadet crew still works well: Cadet Kirk as captain with Cadet Spock and Cadet Uhura beside him. Past the mid levels you will want stronger officers, and the best picks shift with the current meta, so check the Officer Tier List for up-to-date crews rather than locking in one setup.

Where to find the Lost Gorn Warship

The Lost Gorn Warship clusters in mid-tier neutral space. The level 27 to 42 spawns sit behind warp 25 to 28, so they are reachable early. From level 45 the warp requirement jumps to 75 and keeps climbing to 225 at level 60, pushing the higher spawns into deep systems. Match your warp range to the level you want before you set out.

Rewards and what it drops

The Lost Gorn Warship drops two things depending on the level you hit. The level 27 to 39 spawns pay out Parsteel, while the level 42 to 60 spawns drop 4-star Broken Interceptor Parts instead. Ship XP also climbs steeply with level, from around 423 at level 27 to nearly 11,904 at level 60, so higher kills level your ship far faster.

Drop What it is
Parsteel The basic building and upgrade currency for your station and ships
4-star Broken Interceptor Parts Component used to build and upgrade 4-star Interceptor ships

Lost Gorn Warship stats

Stats climb steeply with level, so a spawn near the top of the band is far tougher than the numbers at the bottom suggest.

Level Total strength Hull HP Shield HP Attack Defense Ship XP
27 92,379 15,460 15,460 37,669 39,250 423
45 7,582,932 4,399,952 4,399,952 1,830,885 1,352,095 2,125
60 405,235,633 229,972,567 229,972,567 107,640,706 67,622,360 11,904

Lost Gorn Warship firing pattern

The ship carries two weapon groups. A single Energy weapon fires every round for steady damage, while a pair of Kinetic weapons hits much harder but only fires every other round. Time your repairs or mitigation around the Kinetic volley, since that is where most of the incoming damage lands.

Weapon type Count Damage per shot Fires Crit
Energy 1 4,536–5,544 Every round 10% (1.5x)
Kinetic 2 12,442–15,206 Every other round 10% (1.5x)

The Gorn in Star Trek

The Gorn are a reptilian, cold-blooded species first seen in the original series episode “Arena” in 1967, where Captain Kirk is forced into single combat with a Gorn captain on a barren world. Powerfully built and highly territorial, they attacked a Federation outpost after reading it as an intrusion into their space. Later series revisited them as fierce predators with their own sense of law and honor. In Star Trek Fleet Command the Gorn appear as tough, aggressive ship crews, and this warship reflects that reputation as a hard-hitting hull for its level.

Is the Lost Gorn Warship worth grinding?

It is a solid stop for two reasons. Early on it feeds you Parsteel, and from level 42 up it becomes a steady source of 4-star Broken Interceptor Parts for building and upgrading Interceptors, with strong ship XP on the higher kills. If you are grinding it, match your warp to the level you want and bring an Explorer so the fights stay quick and cheap on repairs.
