Klingon Supply Ship

The Klingon Supply Ship is a level 31 hostile that patrols Klingon faction space in Star Trek Fleet Command. It spawns only as a Survey ship, which means it barely fights back, and it sticks to ten warp 24 systems such as Quo’Kor, Mokba, and Xa’Lomk. It can drop Plundered Cargo, and every kill pays ship XP. Any combat-ready ship at this level beats it: match the warp range, load your hostile-grinding crew, and farm away.

How to beat the Klingon Supply Ship

There is no counter triangle to think about here. The Klingon Supply Ship only appears as a Survey ship, so there is nothing to swap between levels and no wrong class to bring. Survey hostiles are haulers, not fighters: this one’s attack stat (34,200) is well under half its defense (82,500), and it fires a single energy weapon. An Explorer, Interceptor, or Battleship with level-appropriate gear wins comfortably. The real goal is speed. You want kills in one or two rounds so a grinding session does not drag, which means favoring raw weapon damage over survivability.

Crew accordingly. Put a captain in the chair who boosts weapon damage against hostiles, and fill the other seats with officers that add damage or shave incoming hits. At level 31 the evergreen cadet crew still does the job: Cadet Kirk as captain with Cadet Spock and Cadet Uhura beside him. If you have stronger hostile crews from later officer packs, use them instead; check the officer tier list for current picks. Crews shift with the meta, so treat any named combo as a starting point rather than a permanent answer.

Where to find the Klingon Supply Ship

Every spawn sits at level 31 in warp 24 Klingon systems, so one ship with warp 24 or better covers the entire hunting ground. There is no low-level or high-level version to chase; pick whichever of the ten systems is least crowded on your server and stay put. Kills come faster when you are not competing with other players for spawns.

Rewards and what it drops

The loot table lists one resource: Plundered Cargo, in stacks of roughly 9,000 to 11,000. Treat it as an occasional pull rather than a guaranteed per-kill payout, and check the current event or daily goals tab to see what Plundered Cargo feeds before you commit to a long farming session. The steady reward is ship XP: 222 per kill, which adds up quickly against a target this easy to one-shot.

Drop What it is
Plundered Cargo A loot resource collected from hostile kills, used by certain events and daily goals. Drops in stacks of about 9,000 to 11,000.

Klingon Supply Ship stats

The Klingon Supply Ship exists at a single level with a single hull, so the table below is the whole picture rather than a low, mid, and high sample.

Klingon Supply Ship firing pattern

The Klingon Supply Ship carries one energy weapon that fires every round starting from round one, hitting for 21,600 to 26,400 per shot with a 10% chance to crit at 1.5x damage. There is no burst round to time your mitigation around: incoming damage is flat and modest, and a properly geared ship at this level ends the fight before repairs are ever a question.

Weapon type Count Damage per shot Fires Crit
Energy 1 21,600–26,400 Every round 10% (1.5x)

The Klingons in Star Trek

The Klingons are a warrior species from the planet Qo’noS, first seen in the original Star Trek series and developed across every era of the franchise since. Their culture is built on honor, combat, and loyalty to one’s house, with the messianic figure Kahless the Unforgettable at the center of their beliefs. For decades the Klingon Empire was the Federation’s most dangerous rival, until the Khitomer Accords opened a lasting alliance. Even their freighters and supply lines, like the ship on this page, fly armed, because in Klingon space nothing travels defenseless.

Is the Klingon Supply Ship worth grinding?

Yes, in a targeted way. It is one of the easiest kills in Klingon space, so it shines when a daily goal or event asks for Klingon hostile kills and you want them fast. The XP per kill is modest but nearly free, and any Plundered Cargo that drops is a bonus. Park a warp 24 ship in a quiet system like Uklor or Embek, set your strongest damage crew, and chain kills without repair downtime.
