Burning Wings is a Federation mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you gather engineering experts from around Federation space to work on the Mayflower. The game lists a recommended level of 1, it starts at warp 1 and needs warp 18 to complete, and it covers Davidul, Nasturta and Lorillia. One Romulan Augur stands in the way. The reward is 21,000 Dilithium plus Federation Credits and reputation, and it unlocks Firefighting.
Burning Wings objectives
Four objectives, no choice split:
- Find the Romulan lab in Davidul. Location: Davidul.
- Destroy the Romulan Augur. Location: Davidul (enemy strength about 39,484).
- Find the Dilithium expert on Veyil. Location: Nasturta.
- Transport the experts to Starbase 82. Location: Lorillia.
The Romulan lab in Davidul is the first stop and the only fight. After the Augur is destroyed you collect the Dilithium expert on Veyil in Nasturta and deliver everyone to Starbase 82 in Lorillia.
Where and what warp
The mission starts at warp 1 and needs warp 18 to complete. Nasturta is a Romulan system, so part of the route crosses into their space.
The listed level is 1. The Romulan Augur at about 39,500 strength is the fight that tells you whether your ship is ready.
The route has three stops: Davidul for the lab and the Augur, Nasturta for the Dilithium expert and Lorillia for the handover at Starbase 82. Each system is visited once, so it runs in a straight line from the first stop to the last.

Each step adds one warp to the finish, so a ship that clears Silver Coins will manage the next two with room to spare. The Mayflower also features in A Brighter Future, where you test its new engines.
Tips
Clear Davidul first and repair afterwards. The Augur is the only enemy, and the remaining steps are pickups and a delivery.
Firefighting, the next mission, pays better, with 100,000 Tritanium and 170 3★ Battleship Parts, and needs only one more warp. Burning Wings is worth clearing promptly to reach it.
Each run also costs Klingon and Romulan reputation, so keep that in mind if you are working on standing with either faction.
