What Comes Next… is a level 26 mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you decide whom to side with. After meeting a Klingon Commander in Talmir-86, you choose between the Föderation, the Klingons and the Romulans, and each choice has its own final meeting and reward. It becomes available at warp 1 and needs warp 22 to complete, with no fights. Every path pays 150 of that faction’s credits, plus Dilithium, Parsteel or Tritanium depending on who you back.
What Comes Next… objectives
The first four objectives are the same for everyone:

At the fourth step the mission splits three ways. Each path has one more trip and its own reward.
Side with the Federation
- Meet with the Starfleet Officer. Location: Hann.
Side with the Klingons
- Reconvene with the Klingon Officer. Location: Ciara.
Side with the Romulans
- Meet with Sekula. Location: Sufiday.
No hostile is listed on any path. The mission is a run of meetings, with two trips home to your station before the choice.

Completing any path unlocks the next part of the chain.
Tips
Pick the faction whose credits you need. The credit amount is the same on every path, so the choice comes down to which faction store you are working toward and which resource you are short of.
Compare the Ressourcen as well as the numbers. The Klingon path’s 1,268,000 Parsteel is the biggest figure, but a bigger number only helps if Parsteel is what your next upgrade is waiting on. If it is Dilithium or Tritanium, the Federation or Romulan path is the better pick.
Any ship with warp 22 can finish it. With no fights on any path, there is no reason to tie up a combat ship.
Die Mission davor, Machenschaften, also sends you to Sufiday, to confront T’Pora after clearing 15 hostiles of level 24 or higher. Game data places both missions in the storyline that begins with Business as Usual.
