Data Structure Overhaul is an early main storyline station mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. To keep advancing Maia’s program, it asks you to upgrade Operations to level 9. The recommended level is 9, it needs only warp 1 to start and finish, and the reward is 9,000 Parsteel. Finishing it unlocks Security Sweep. The reward covers nearly all of the Parsteel the upgrade itself costs.

Tips
Check the warehouse requirements early. Both the Tritanium and Parsteel Warehouses have to be at level 8 before Operations 9 can start, and they are easy to miss.
