Tribble Threat is a story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you look for a way to slow the breeding of assimilated Tribbles. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 12 to complete, and everything happens in Labac: a meeting with Shani, an 84,000 Dilithium payment and a fight with a Borg probe of about 200,000 strength. The reward is 148,000 Tritanium and 35 15 Minute Repair Speed Ups, and it unlocks the next mission, Bubble, Bubble, Toil and Tribble.

Tribble Threat objectives

The story line reads: find a way to slow the increased reproduction rate of the assimilated Tribbles. There are three objectives and no choice split:

  • Meet with Shani. Location: Labac.
  • Zahlen Sie Shani 84.000 Dilithium.
  • Defeat the Borg probe. Location: Labac. Enemy strength about 200,351.

All three steps happen in Labac. You meet Shani, pay her in Dilithium, and then take on the Borg probe.

Wo und welcher Warp

The mission starts at warp 1 and needs warp 12 to complete. Labac, a level 17 neutral system, is the only location, so there is one trip out and nothing else to plan.

Tips

Have the 84,000 Dilithium ready before you fly to Labac. The payment comes right after the meeting, and if you choose the Dilithium path in Mistakes Were Made, its 26,000 Dilithium covers part of it.

Bring a combat ship for the Borg probe. It is the last step and the only fight, so repair before you arrive and you can finish in one go.

The 35 15 Minute Repair Speed Ups add up to 8 hours 45 minutes of repair time, useful for getting a ship back out after the probe fight or later ones. Other missions by level are on the Missionsleitfaden.
