The Sins of the Past is a level 72 Romulan mission in Star Trek Fleet Command for the Order. You escort three young Order agents to talks with the Aeonian leaders of Laooik, and the talks turn into a hostage deal. The whole mission takes place in Kúshlah at warp 1,550. Halfway through you choose how to deal with a hidden arsenal, and both paths pay 974,000 Σ-Parsteel, 4,342,000 Latinum, 2,900 Σ-Romulan Credits and 1 Gravimetric Daten.
The Sins of the Past objectives
Kotoma wants the Order’s new base to stay on good terms with the local Aeonian colony, and she sends Ticen, Kumu and Letha to handle the diplomacy. Every player starts with these steps in Kúshlah:
- Contact the leader of Laooik.
- Defend the Order group (enemy strength ~6,582,078,069,331).
- Find the concealed arsenal.
- Decide how to deal with the hidden arsenal.
Akchif V of the Laooik Council of Choice has the envoys seized as soon as they beam down, and planetary defenses stop you from pulling them back. After you fight through, he explains his terms. An old weapons store sits under the moon, and he wants its integrity sensors offline before he frees the agents. Maia notes the Order could use those weapons, and the choice is yours.
Deactivate the arsenal sensors
Maia turns the Σ-Dilithium into an interference device that knocks out the sensor system without destroying anything. Kotoma is told about the arsenal so her agents can take the weapons later.
Destroy the arsenal
- Detonate the arsenal in Kúshlah (enemy strength ~6,743,165,195,220).
- Return for the Order officers in Kúshlah.
On this path you attack a solar power satellite so that it sets off the arsenal’s own defense protocol, and everything inside is destroyed.
Either way Akchif V releases the envoys unharmed and apologises. His people have lived in peace for over a century, and he wanted the last remains of their violent past gone.

The mission is picked up in Kúshlah and never leaves it. Warp 1,550 covers both the start and the finish. The recommended level is 72. Finishing it unlocks the next mission in this Order storyline.

Tips
Your choice comes down to Σ-Dilithium against a second fight. If you have 36,900 Σ-Dilithium spare, disabling the sensors skips all further combat. If you would rather keep it, the detonation fight is listed at about 6.7 trillion strength, close to the defense fight you already cleared. The rewards match, so there is no bonus for either path.
Low warp is the easy part. Everything happens inside Kúshlah at warp 1,550, so a ship built for combat rather than range can handle it.
The big Latinum und Parsteel payout comes with a reputation trade. You gain 16.1 billion Romulan Points and lose 18.8 billion Federation Points and 8.9 billion Klingon Points.
