Swing Vote is a level 76 Federation mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which a Forsaken councillor goes missing right before an important vote. It is picked up in Sebireia and needs warp 4,000 to start and to complete, with a trip to Zauterin to confront Kolaya. There is one fight of about 56 trillion strength and no donation. The reward is 638,000 Σ-Parsteel, 10,000 Commander XP and 900 Σ-Federation Credits. It is mostly conversation, with the one fight near the end.
Swing Vote objectives
There are six objectives and no choice split:
- Speak with Ondi. Location: Sebireia.
- Speak with Vaxto. Location: Sebireia.
- Speak with Orasek. Location: Sebireia.
- Confront Kolaya. Location: Zauterin.
- Defend yourself. Location: Zauterin (enemy strength about 55.7 trillion).
- Await the results of the vote. Location: Sebireia.
The first three steps are interviews in Sebireia with Ondi, Vaxto and Orasek. What you learn points to Kolaya in Zauterin, and the confrontation turns into a fight. You then go back to Sebireia to wait for the vote.
Wo und welcher Warp
The pickup system is Sebireia, and the mission starts and ends there. Warp to start and warp to complete are both 4,000, and the recommended level is 76.
Zauterin is the only other system, so this is a quick out-and-back once the interviews are done.

All four have the same point changes. Swing Vote pays the fewest Σ-Federation Credits but is the only one that gives Σ-Parsteel.
Tips
The fight in Zauterin is light for this level. Any ship that can reach warp 4,000 and handle level 76 enemies will get through it.
Counterplot also picks up in Sebireia at level 76, and it pays no faction points, so it fits alongside Swing Vote without changing your reputation further. Scientific Endeavor also visits Zauterin, but it pays Klingon Points.
