Absentee is a level 76 Federation mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you investigate Vaxto’s disappearance. It is picked up in Vaxiish and needs warp 4,000 to start and to complete, following Vaxto’s trail from Navanther to Yagn’Ohn. At the Werft on Dubeg you either pay 1.5M 7★ Raw Ore for a lead or disable the dealer’s security in a fight of about 56 trillion strength. Both choices pay 156,000 Σ-Dilithium, 500 Federation Recruit Tokens and 2,400 Σ-Federation Credits. It is short, and the fight path costs nothing but repairs.
Absentee objectives
Three objectives come before the choice:
- Investigate the last known sighting of Vaxto. Location: Navanther.
- Follow Vaxto’s warp trail to Yagn’Ohn. Location: Yagn’Ohn.
- Contact the shipyard on Dubeg. Location: Yagn’Ohn.
The dealer at the Dubeg shipyard knows what happened to Vaxto’s shuttle, and the mission asks whether you pay or intimidate.
Pay
- Pay 1.5M 7★ Roherz for the lead on Vaxto.
The dealer names the price, you hand over the ore, and the mission ends there.
Intimidate
- Disable the dealer’s security. Location: Yagn’Ohn (enemy strength about 56.2 trillion).
Threatening the dealer brings out a security vessel, and disabling it gets you the information.
Wo und welcher Warp
The pickup system is Vaxiish. Warp to start and warp to complete are both 4,000, and the recommended level is 76.
After the pickup the route is Navanther and then Yagn’Ohn, where the rest of the mission plays out.

Vaxto turns up in three level 76 Federation missions:

Absentee pays the most Σ-Federation Credits of the three and is the only one with Recruit Tokens.
Navanther, the first stop, is also where the colony demonstration takes place in Rebel Sentiment at level 75, and Yagn’Ohn is the pickup for all three level 75 Romulan single missions.
Tips
Intimidating is the cheaper choice for most players. The security vessel is a typical level 76 fight, while 1.5M 7★ Raw Ore is a real cost at this stage.
Extrication picks up in the same system, so you can accept both on one visit to Vaxiish.
