Boldly Go is one of the first missions in Star Trek Fleet Command: protect your station from a Nausicaan Interceptor, then return home. It is recommended for level 2 and never needs more than warp 1. The Interceptor has about 143 strength, so any starting ship can win. There are two versions, and the fuller one pays Parsteel, Recruit Tokens, Ship XP and Officer XP. It leads straight into Maia.

Boldly Go objectives

The story line asks you to protect the Station from the Nausicaan Interceptor. Two objectives, no choice split:

  • Eliminate the Nausicaan Interceptor (enemy strength about 143).
  • Rückkehr zum Bahnhof.

No system is named. The Interceptor is close to your station, and one version of the mission tells you to use the LOCATE button to find it.

Wo und welcher Warp

Warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete. You never leave your home system.

The recommended level is 2.

Boldly Go rewards

The version with the LOCATE hint pays the most:

Belohnung Amount
Parsteel 40
Token rekrutieren 20
Ship XP 100
Officer XP 100

The other version pays 40 Parsteel. Either one unlocks the next mission.

Boldly Go at other levels

Boldly Go appears in the game twice. Both versions are recommended for level 2, need only warp 1 and have the same two objectives against the same Interceptor. They differ in the hint and the reward.

Recommended level Systeme Warp zum Abschließen Belohnungen
2 Home system 1 40 Parsteel
2 Home system, with the LOCATE hint 1 40 Parsteel, 20 Recruit Tokens, 100 Ship XP, 100 Officer XP

Tips

If you cannot see the Interceptor, use LOCATE. It is the fastest way to find an enemy ship near your station.

Spend the Recruit Tokens early. At level 2 any new officer helps, and recruiting is how you fill your first bridge crew.

The next mission is Maia, which also stays at warp 1. For more early missions in order, see the Missionsleitfaden.
