Oil and Water is a three-part mission chain in the Margins that starts with an odd Romulan distress call and ends with you smuggling Doctor Potuhk and a synth named Charlie to the Forsaken. The doctor has been hiding Charlie from the Order, and scavengers are hunting his research. All three parts are recommended for level 73 and reach warp 2,100, starting in Ivundia. Rewards include 4,100 Σ-Romulan Credits, 53,100,000,000 Romulan Points, 7★ raw resources and ship parts, and 3 Gravimetric Daten. With four fights around 11.5 trillion strength, it is a steady chain for Romulan-aligned players.

Oil and Water Part 1
Respond to the distress call. A signal from a Romulanisch base in Ivundia turns out to belong to Doctor Potuhk, who claims it was a mistake and has moved to Miyukara, where scavenger ships keep attacking him.

What is Doctor Potuhk hiding? You follow him to his lab, then escort him to Grauga as more ships close in. The part ends with the reveal that his secret is Charlie, a synth.

- Defeat the attacker in Grauga (enemy strength ~11,152,566,560,497).

Help the doctor and Charlie escape. Potuhk will not leave without his research, so you guard the lab while he gathers it, then look for somewhere the pair can hide from the Order and the other synths.
- Return to the lab in Ivundia.
- Defeat the ship in Ivundia (enemy strength ~11,527,605,156,182).
- Help them escape to Miyukara.
- Bring them to the Forsaken in Nisindei.
- Kehren Sie zu Ihrer Station zurück.

Tips for completing Oil and Water
Keep at least 20K Σ-Dilithium on hand for the end of Part 1. That objective is only listed as helping the scientist, but the doctor asks for the Dilithium before he leaves.
Part 2 is where the combat stacks up. Two ships attack in Grauga one after the other, at roughly 11.2 and 11.4 trillion strength, so arrive at full health. The other two fights, in Miyukara and Ivundia, sit at about 11.5 trillion and have nothing chained right behind them.
Travel moves between Ivundia, Miyukara, Grauga and Nisindei, all inside the warp 2,100 range, so a ship that can start Part 1 can finish the chain.
