No Good Deed is a Romulan storyline mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you set a trap for the Tal Prai’ex, using a Tal Shiar ship as bait in Stelama. The game lists a recommended level of 1; it starts at warp 1 and needs warp 95 to finish. Two named fights close the mission, and the reward is 10 1M Tritanium Tokens, 4,290,000 Dilithium, 600 Romulan Credits and 374,000 Romulan Points. It unlocks Double-edged Sword and pays well for the effort.
No Good Deed objectives
There are five objectives and no choice split:
- Leave a Tal Shiar ship as bait. Location: Stelama.
- Wait for the Tal Prai’ex to appear. Location: Talvath.
- Return to the system. Location: Stelama.
- Defeat the Tal Prai’ex’s Sub-Commander. Location: Stelama (enemy strength ~4,139,806).
- Defeat the Tal Prai’ex. Location: Stelama (enemy strength ~912,580).
You leave the bait in Stelama and wait out of sight in Talvath. When the Tal Prai’ex takes the bait you head back to Stelama, where the Sub-Commander and then the Tal Prai’ex have to be beaten.
Wo und welcher Warp
Warp 1 to start and warp 95 to complete, with no pickup system. The mission moves between Stelama and Talvath.
The Sub-Commander at about 4.1 million strength and the warp 95 requirement are the real bar.

From A Lamb to Slaughter onward the Romulan Points hold at 374,000 per mission. No Good Deed is a slightly shorter trip than the Missionen on either side of it.
Tips
The Sub-Commander is the fight to prepare for. At about 4.1 million strength it is more than four times as strong as the Tal Prai’ex, and it comes first, so go into Stelama at full health.
Do not worry about the wait in Talvath. It is a travel step with no enemy listed, so the only combat is at the end, back in Stelama.
Each Romulan mission in this run costs close to 400,000 Federation Points. If you are building Romulan standing, that is the trade; if you want Federation standing, weigh it before continuing. The Tal Shiar story also includes Ein Stein, where you take down the Tal Shiar Chairman.
