Loose Ends is a Federation story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. A Vulcan scientist has tricked a Romulan drone ship into Föderation space instead of beyond the Romulan border, and you follow it to Sirius. It opens at warp 1, needs warp 38 to complete, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. After tracking the drone you choose how to deal with a hidden Romulanisch installation, and each choice leads to a different fight, at about 902,683 or 1,426,536 strength. Both paths pay 100,000 Federation Points.
Loose Ends objectives
The mission starts with one shared step, then splits at a choice:
- Track the drone ship’s whereabouts. Location: Sirius.
- Choose what to do about the Romulans in Sirius.
Path 1: warn the Romulan spies
This option warns the Romulan spies that their location is compromised.
- Defeat the Romulan defense ship. Location: Sirius. Enemy strength is roughly 902,683.
Rewards: 3,822,000 Tritanium, 26 3★ Ungewöhnlich Refined Ore, 500 Federation Credits, 100,000 Federation Points, -144,000 Klingonisch Points.
Path 2: bombard the Romulan intelligence units
This option bombards the Romulan intelligence units from orbit.
- Destroy the fleeing Romulan escape vessel. Location: Sirius. Enemy strength is roughly 1,426,536.
Rewards: 500 Federation Recruit Token, 500 Romulan Recruit Token, 500 Federation Credits, 100,000 Federation Points, -144,000 Klingon Points.
Both paths share the Federation Credits, the Federation Points and the Klingon Points loss. The difference is the fight and the rest of the payout: Path 1 is the easier fight and pays Ressourcen, while Path 2 is more than half a million strength tougher and pays recruit tokens instead.
Wo und welcher Warp
Loose Ends becomes available at warp 1 and no pickup system is named. Completing it takes warp 38, since everything happens in Sirius.
The recommended level is 1. The real requirement depends on your choice: a ship that can beat about 902,683 strength for Path 1, or about 1,426,536 for Path 2.

Loose Ends and Espionage compared
Loose Ends follows Spionage, where Starfleet finds a Romulan stealth drone ship gathering data in Alpha Centauri and you pick up the Vulcan scientist:
| Mission | Warp | Fights | Main rewards |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spionage | 47 to start and complete, picked up in Deneb | Drone Ship’s defenses, about 1,385,777 | 2,147,000 Tritanium, 240 3★ Explorer Parts, 500 Federation Credits, 100,000 Federation Points |
| Lose Enden | 1 to start, 38 to complete | About 902,683 or 1,426,536, depending on your choice | Tritanium and refined ore, or recruit tokens |
Tips
Check your Fraktionsruf before choosing. Either path costs 144,000 Klingon Points, so the choice does not change the reputation hit.
Pick Path 1 if your ship struggles near 1.4 million strength. It pays well and the fight is much lighter. More missions by level are on the Missionsleitfaden.
