Kobayashi Maru is an early tutorial mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. Its single objective is to complete the Kobayashi Maru combat simulation. It comes after Senden einer Nachricht, needs only warp 1 and lists a recommended level of 1. The reward is 10 Latinum, 10 1★ Survey Parts and 20 Dilithium, and finishing it unlocks Erwachen. It takes a few minutes and pays a little of three different Ressourcen.
Kobayashi Maru objectives
The story line is to participate in the combat simulation. There is one objective and no choice split:
- Complete the Kobayashi Maru simulation.
No system and no enemy strength are listed for the step, so the simulation is the whole mission.
Wo und welcher Warp
There is no pickup system, and warp 1 covers both start and completion. The recommended level is 1, so any new commander can run it as soon as Sending a Message is done.

Kobayashi Maru is the only one of these that pays Survey Parts, and one of two that pay Latinum.
Tips
Just play it through. The simulation is the only step, and nothing about the reward depends on how you approach it.
