In the Eyes of the Future is a one-step mission in Star Trek Fleet Command that opens the Klingon Science Group (KSG) storyline. The game lists a recommended level of 51, and the mission is picked up in ghuH at warp 185, which is also the warp you need to finish it. Your only task is to contact K’ulass. The reward is 3,000,000 Dilithium plus Klingon faction credits and points, and completing it unlocks Let Me In. It is a quick stop that exists to get the KSG chain moving.
In the Eyes of the Future objectives
There is a single objective and no choice split:
- Contact K’ulass. Location: ghuH.
No hostile is listed, nothing is donated and there is nothing to collect. Once your ship reaches ghuH and makes contact, the mission is done. K’ulass is the KSG figure the next several missions revolve around, so this is the introduction to the character as much as it is a task.

The pickup system is ghuH, and both the start and the finish need warp 185. Because the one objective is in the same system where you pick the mission up, there is no second jump to plan. A ship that can reach ghuH can complete the whole thing.
The recommended level is 51. With no combat in the mission, the real requirement is having a ship with the range to get to ghuH.

Let Me In, the very next step, is a collection mission: it asks you to collect and donate 5 KSG Datapads. Those datapads come from KSG side missions in the same region, such as Family Matters, Buyer Beware and Test Procedures, so it helps to know where they are before you accept this one.
Tips
Treat this as a gate. The reward is modest, and the value is in the chain it opens, which runs from here through Food For Thought and Behind Us and on into the level 53 missions.
Start picking up KSG side missions early. Let Me In will not progress until you collect 5 KSG Datapads, so knowing where the datapad side missions start saves time once it unlocks.
Watch your Romulan standing if it matters to you. Every KSG mission in this chain pays Klingon Points and removes Romulan Points, and the amounts climb as the recommended level rises.
