I Watch You From Afar is a Romulan-side mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you hunt for the silent supporter of the Reman uprising. You investigate a communications outpost in Kepler-018, follow a signal to Zaurak and destroy the Arkonian Cruiser waiting there. The mission is picked up in Sufiday and needs warp 18 to start and finish. The reward is 110 3★ Battleship Parts, 46 5 Minute Repair Speed Ups and 8,000 Romulan Points, with a Föderation reputation cost.
I Watch You From Afar objectives
Es gibt drei Ziele und keine Verzweigung:
- Investigate the communications outpost in Kepler-018. Location: Kepler-018.
- Track down where the signal is coming from, in Zaurak. Location: Zaurak.
- Destroy the Arkonian Cruiser. Location: Zaurak (enemy strength about 102,720).
The first two steps are investigation. The outpost in Kepler-018 points you toward a signal, and the signal leads to Zaurak. There you meet the only fight in the mission, an Arkonian Cruiser at roughly 102,720 strength. Destroying it completes the mission, with no report step afterwards.
Wo und welcher Warp
Pick the mission up in Sufiday. Warp 18 covers both the start and the finish, and the route runs Sufiday to Kepler-018, then on to Zaurak.
The game lists a recommended level of 1. The Arkonian Cruiser, at around 100,000 strength, and warp 18 are what really decide when you can run it.
I Watch You From Afar rewards
| Belohnung | Amount |
|---|---|
| 5 Minute Repair Speed Up | 46 |
| 3★ Battleship Parts | 110 |
| Romulanisch Kredite | 200 |
| Romulan Points | 8,000 |
| Federation Points | -5,376 |
You gain 8,000 Romulan Points and lose 5,376 Federation Points. There is no choice split, so the Federation deduction cannot be avoided.
I Watch You From Afar and Liberator compared
This mission follows Befreier, where you silence the activist working to free Reman miners in Draken. Both are picked up in Sufiday at warp 18.
| Mission | Warp zum Abschließen | Fight | Main rewards | Federation Points |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Befreier | 18 | Reman Liberator (~54,559) | 611,000 Parsteel, 7 3 Hour Speed Ups, 180 Romulan Credits, 8,000 Romulan Points | -5,184 |
| Ich beobachte dich aus der Ferne | 18 | Arkonian Cruiser (~102,720) | 110 3★ Battleship Parts, 46 5 Minute Repair Speed Ups, 200 Romulan Credits, 8,000 Romulan Points | -5,376 |
The Arkonian Cruiser is close to twice as strong as the Reman Liberator, so this is the harder of the two Missionen despite the same warp.
Tips
Do not assume that because you beat the Reman Liberator you are ready for the Arkonian Cruiser. The jump from about 55,000 to about 103,000 strength is steep, so bring your best combat ship.
The 3★ Battleship Parts are the most useful reward if you are building a battleship, and the 46 small repair speed ups help you recover from the Cruiser fight quickly.
Taken together, Liberator and this mission move you 16,000 Romulan Points up and 10,560 Federation Points down. For other Romulan-side missions, see the STFC mission guide.
