Liberator is a Romulan-side mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you track down an activist who is trying to free Reman miners in Draken, then shut the uprising down. It is picked up in Sufiday and needs warp 18 to start and to finish. The payout is 611,000 Parsteel and seven 3 Hour Speed Ups, plus a Romulan reputation boost that comes at a Federation cost. It is a short three-step job with one fight, and it leads straight into the next mission of the Reman storyline.
Liberator objectives
There are three objectives and no choice split, so every player follows the same route:
- Find the activist in the Draken system. Location: Draken.
- Defeat the Reman Liberator. Location: Draken (enemy strength about 54,559).
- Bring news of the quashed uprising to Sufiday. Location: Sufiday.
The first step is a search. Once you reach Draken and find the activist, the Reman Liberator appears as the one combat target in the mission. Its listed strength of roughly 54,559 is modest, so a ship that can make the warp 18 trip will usually be ready for it. After the fight you fly back to Sufiday to report that the uprising is over, and the mission closes there.

You pick Liberator up in Sufiday. Warp 18 covers both the start and the finish, so there is no longer jump hidden at the end: the round trip is Sufiday to Draken and back again.
The game lists a recommended level of 1, which says little about when you can actually run it. Warp 18 and the Reman Liberator fight are the real requirements, so treat the mission as open once your ship reaches that range.

The negative line is a real deduction. Completing Liberator takes 5,184 Federation Points away from you while adding 8,000 Romulan Points. Finishing the mission also unlocks the next one in the chain.
Liberator and the next mission compared
Liberator hands off directly to Ich beobachte dich aus der Ferne, where the job becomes finding the silent supporter of the Reman uprising. Both Missionen sit at the same warp, and both trade Federation standing for Romulan standing.

Across the two missions you gain 16,000 Romulan Points and lose 10,560 Federation Points, so decide before you start whether that trade suits your reputation plans.
Tips
Parsteel is the headline reward. At 611,000 it is a solid top-up for station upgrades at the point where warp 18 first becomes available, and the seven 3 Hour Speed Ups go straight into building or research timers.
If you are working on Federation reputation, weigh the loss before accepting. There is no alternate path in Liberator that avoids the deduction, since the mission has no choice split.
