Homebound is a late-game station mission in Star Trek Fleet Command with one objective: upgrade Verteidigungstechnologien to level 54. It has a recommended level of 54 and needs only warp 1. The reward is 18,750,000 Dilithium and 500 Premium Recruit Tokens, and completing it unlocks Hartgeschmiedete Bindungen. The upgrade itself is the whole task, and it is a large one.
Homebound objectives
The story line is to reinforce your Station against further attacks. There is one objective and no choice split:
- Upgrade Defense Technologies to level 54.
No system is named, no hostile is listed and nothing is donated. The mission clears when Defense Technologies reaches level 54.
Wo und welcher Warp
Warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete, with no pickup system. Everything happens on your station.
The recommended level is 54, which matches the building level you need.
What Defense Technologies 54 costs
Current game data for the upgrade, with the levels either side:
| Ebene | Main costs | Anforderungen |
|---|---|---|
| 53 | 1.893T Parsteel, 46.4B Tritanium, 55,500 5★ Common Refined Gas, 14,300 5★ Ungewöhnlich Raffiniertes Gas | Operations 53, R&D Department 53 |
| 54 | 2.840T Parsteel, 69.6B Tritanium, 47,200 5★ Common Refined Gas, 16,100 5★ Uncommon Refined Gas | Operations 54, R&D Department 54 |
| 55 | 4.827T Parsteel, 109.2B Tritanium, 77,800 5★ Common Refined Gas, 4,800 5★ Seltene Raffiniertes Gas | Science Lab 55, Labor für Motorentechnik 55, Foundry 55 |
Level 54 needs Operations 54 and the F&E-Abteilung at 54 first. The base build time is about 822 days before speed ups or build-time reductions.
Level 54 costs about 50% more Parsteel and Tritanium than level 53. Level 55 switches its requirements to the Wissenschaftliches Labor, Engine Technology Lab and Foundry at 55, and brings in 5★ Rare Refined Gas, so the climb gets steeper right after this mission.
Homebound rewards
| Belohnung | Amount |
|---|---|
| Dilithium | 18,750,000 |
| Premium Recruit Token | 500 |
Completing it unlocks the next mission, Hard Forged Bonds.
Where it sits in the storyline
Homebound is a station step between two combat-heavy Missionen. Current game data:
| Mission | Ebene | Warp zum Abschließen | Main challenge | Belohnungen |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| What They Don’t Know… | 53 | 1 | Treffen Sie die Enterprise at your Station, then defeat two mercenaries (about 22.6M and 26.1M) | 270 3 Hour Speed Ups, 10,500,000 Dilithium, 5,355,000,000 Parsteel |
| Heimgebunden | 54 | 1 | Defense Technologies 54 | 18,750,000 Dilithium, 500 Premium Recruit Tokens |
| Hartgeschmiedete Bindungen | 54 | 150 | 243M Tritanium repair, a mercenary in Odin (about 23.0M) | 900 3 Hour Speed Ups, 33,000,000 Dilithium |
Tips
Plan the Defense Technologies build well ahead. It depends on Operations 54 and R&D Department 54, and the 5★ refined Gas costs take time to gather.
Save the reward Dilithium for what comes next. Hard Forged Bonds pays 33,000,000 Dilithium but asks for a 243M Tritanium repair and a fight at roughly 23 million strength. Other missions by level are on the Missionsleitfaden.
