Home Is Where The Logic Is is a level 63 side mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you escort a Vulcan survey team to a planet in Pearl and end up defending it from Orion raiders. It is picked up in Pearl, needs warp 1,100 to start and to complete, and asks you to defeat 8 hostiles of level 62 or higher and donate 50M Tritanium to rebuild the survey lab. The reward is 180 6★ Common Refined Gas and 45,000 Raw Σ-Tritanium, with no reputation change.

There are three objectives in a fixed order and no choice split:
- Take the Vulcans to the planet. Location: Pearl.
- Defeat 8 hostiles of Level 62 or higher.
- Rebuild the Vulcan lab with 50M Tritanium.
Setik thanks you for joining a planetary survey led by T’Lores, a faculty head from the Vulcan Wissenschaft Institute. When you meet her, T’Lores explains that her transport was attacked by would-be kidnappers and its captain killed; outside Föderation space, her fame has drawn the wrong attention. She decides that someone with your combat experience should take Befehl. Setik would rather abandon the survey and wait for more security, but more ships are already approaching.
The raiders’ leader, an Orion named Boog, eventually orders a retreat. They have ransacked the survey station on the surface, and T’Lores says repairs will cost 50M Tritanium. With the lab rebuilt, the survey can begin.

The mission is picked up in Pearl, and the survey planet is there too. The eight hostiles have no fixed system. Warp to start and to complete is 1,100, and the recommended level is 63.

Tips
Budget 50M Tritanium for the rebuild; it is the last step. The eight hostiles are the only combat.
