Trade Route Blues is a Romulan faction mission in Star Trek Fleet Command about securing a contentious trade route. It is picked up in Ballion, needs warp 120 to start and to complete, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. After meeting the traders in Yina, you choose between a hostile grind and a fight against the traders’ guard vessel. Both paths pay the same: 50 4★ Rare Refined Erze, 700 Romulan Credits and a large Romulan standing boost.
Trade Route Blues objectives
Everyone starts with the same two steps:
- Meet with the traders. Location: Yina.
- Decide how to secure the trade route.
The second step is a choice split with two paths.
Path 1: clear the hostiles
- Defeat 12 hostiles of level 45 or higher.
- Return to the traders. Location: Yina.
- Report to Subcommander Cheron. Location: Ballion.
Path 2: destroy the guard
- Destroy the trader’s guard vessel. Location: Yina. Enemy strength is roughly 8,177,045.
- Report to Subcommander Cheron. Location: Ballion.
Both paths end with the same report to Subcommander Cheron in Ballion, and both pay the same rewards.
Wo und welcher Warp
The mission is picked up in Ballion and needs warp 120 both to start and to complete. Yina and Ballion are the two systems involved, and the report at the end brings you back to where you started.
The recommended level is listed as 1. Warp 120 is the real requirement, along with either level 45 hostiles or an 8.1 million strength fight.
Trade Route Blues rewards
| Belohnung | Amount (either path) |
|---|---|
| 4★ Seltene Raffiniertes Erz | 50 |
| Romulan Credits | 700 |
| Romulan Points | 775,000 |
| Klingonisch Punkte | -300,000 |
| Föderation Punkte | -1,350,000 |
The game data lists no follow-up mission unlocked by Trade Route Blues.
Welchen Pfad du wählen solltest
Since both paths pay exactly the same, the only question is which is easier for your fleet. Path 1 is a grind: twelve hostiles of level 45 or higher, then a trip back to Yina before the report. Path 2 is a single hard fight against a ship at roughly 8,177,045 strength, and it skips the return to the traders.
If you already farm level 45 or higher hostiles comfortably, Path 1 is the safer choice, and the kills can overlap with other objectives. If your best combat ship can take an 8 million strength target, Path 2 is quicker, with one fewer step.
Tips
Think about the Federation penalty before accepting. The mission removes 1,350,000 Federation Points and 300,000 Klingon Points while adding 775,000 Romulanisch Points. That swing is large, and it lands no matter which path you pick.
The 50 4★ Rare Refined Ore is the headline reward. Rare grade refined ore is scarcer than the Gemeinsame and Uncommon grades most missions pay, which makes this mission worth running for players who are already aligned with the Romulans.
Accepting in Ballion is convenient, since the final report is in Ballion too. Other missions sorted by level are on the Missionsleitfaden.
