Sheltered is a Klingon-aligned story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. Urtan needs a serum for the Eilisia Pathogen, and you travel to Romulanisch space in Draken to get it: either by paying the Romulans 60M Tritanium or by stealing the serum after destroying a Romulan guard. It can be accepted at warp 1 and needs warp 38 to complete, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. Both paths pay Klingon Credits and 100,000 Klingon Points. The mission unlocks Homecoming.
Sheltered objectives
The story line asks you to acquire a serum for the Eilisia Pathogen from the Romulans. Everyone starts with the same two steps:
- Travel to Romulan space in search of aid for Urtan. Location: Draken.
- How will you acquire the serum?
If you ask the Romulans for aid
- Hand over 60M Tritanium for the serum.
- Return to Urtan with the serum. Location: Ursva.
If you steal the serum from the facility
- Destroy the Romulan Guard. Location: Draken. Enemy strength is roughly 1,426,536.
- Return to Urtan with the serum. Location: Ursva.
Asking for aid costs 60 million Tritanium but no fight. Stealing the serum costs one battle against a guard of about 1.43 million strength.

The mission can be accepted at warp 1, but Draken and Ursva need warp 38 to complete it. The recommended level is listed as 1. The practical bar is either 60 million spare Tritanium or a ship that can beat a 1.43 million strength guard.

Choosing a path
The aid path costs 60 million Tritanium and pays 1,600 Ultra Recruit Tokens, 60 3★ Uncommon Refined Kristall and 200 more Klingon Credits. The theft path pays back 5,180,000 Tritanium after a fight, but also costs 68,880 Föderation reputation. Both paths lose the same 131,200 Romulan Points. If your Tritanium stockpile can absorb 60 million, the aid path pays more in recruit tokens; if not, the theft path costs only a fight.
The mission before it
Sheltered follows Schweigen, which is picked up in Ursva at warp 38. There you track a secret transmission between Kronos and the moon of Urtan, pay 50M Parsteel to a Klingon Magistrate and discover Urtan’s secrets, for 12 3★ Rare and 60 3★ Uncommon Refined Crystal. Between the two Missionen, the Urtan storyline asks for large payments in two different resources, so plan your stockpiles before starting.
Draken is also the pickup system for other Romulan missions such as Aufräumen, although those are much lower-level.
Tips
Check your Tritanium before you choose. The aid path takes 60 million at once.
Repair before the Romulan Guard if you steal the serum. It is the only fight, but it is a strong one for a warp 38 mission.
