Free Market is a three-part Star Trek Fleet Command mission chain in which someone sabotages the Forsaken’s economy, the blame lands on you, and you have to hunt down the real culprit to clear your name. All three parts are recommended for level 80. You pick the chain up in Giziohn, and it needs warp 6,000 to complete, with Part 2 finishing at warp 5,500. Across the chain you earn 1,250,000 Latinum, 5,625,000 7★ Raw Gas, 1,029,000 Σ-Parsteel, 2,700 Σ-Federation Credits and 104.4 billion Federation Points. It suits commanders building Föderation reputation who can already fly out to warp 6,000.

A distress call pulls you into a case of sabotage against the Forsaken’s economy. You answer it at the trade hub in Sotunei, then chase the ship responsible to Giziohn and bring it down.

The last part is about clearing your name. It is picked up in Lighania at warp 5,000, and the trail leads from Rotché to a Ferengi ship in Bah’Ranthi that you have to defeat and hand over to the Forsaken.

Tips for completing Free Market
Range is the first thing to check. Parts 1 and 3 both reach warp 6,000, and Part 3 cannot even be picked up below warp 5,000, so a ship that tops out short of that will stall halfway through the chain.
There are at most three fights, all in the 564 to 569 trillion strength range: the saboteur’s ship in Giziohn, the optional guard ship in Modahri and the Ferengi in Bah’Ranthi. If you would rather skip a fight, going quietly in Part 2 sends you to the jail in Xorallen with no combat, and it pays exactly what the escape path pays.
Keep the faction swing in mind before you start. The chain adds 104.4 billion Federation Points but removes 57.3 billion Romulan Points and 122.1 billion Klingon Points, which matters if you are working on standing with those factions. See Fraktionsruf for how those points add up.
Are the Free Market rewards worth it?
For a Federation-leaning commander, yes. The chain pays 1,250,000 Latinum, 5,625,000 7★ Raw Gas, 1,029,000 Σ-Parsteel, 210,000 Σ-Tritanium, three batches of 7★ broken ship parts, 3 Gravimetric Data and 2,700 Σ-Federation Credits, on top of the Federation Points. The effort is two or three fights and several long trips at warp 6,000. If you are protecting Klingon or Romulan standing, the point losses make it a harder sell.
