Focal Point is a Star Trek Fleet Command mission chain in which you help the scattered Enterprise crew, choosing between protecting the Zorivians with Crusher or chasing an astrometric chart with Geordi, then tracking an Enterprise escape pod to Afritalis. The game lists four parts, numbered Part 2 to Part 5, all recommended for level 31. Warp to complete runs from 8 to 22, and the chain starts at Utoqa. Rewards include up to 8,634,000 Parsteel on one part, 25 Latinum on one branch, 1,231,000 Tritanium, a Peace Shield and 3★ refined Crystal. It is a short, fight-heavy chain with a good resource payout.

Tips for completing Focal Point

The Part 2 choice is the only branch in the chain, and it changes both the work and the reward. Crusher’s branch stays in Bellas with two back-to-back fights near 294,000 to 296,000 strength and pays 8,634,000 Parsteel plus 254,000 Dilithium. Geordi’s branch costs 50,000 Parsteel up front, sends you out to Qualor for a single tougher fight near 356,340, and pays 25 Latinum and 34 × 3 Hour Speed Ups. Both give 110 × 1 Hour Speed Ups. If you need building Ressourcen, pick Crusher; if you want Latinum and longer speed-ups, pick Geordi.

Warp is modest until Part 4. Part 3 needs only warp 8, since it runs from your Station and ends in Bellas, while Parts 4 and 5 need warp 22 for the trips to Afritalis and Priya.

The route starts in low-level neutral space. Parts 2 and 3 stay around Utoqa, Bellas and Yridia (with Qualor only on Geordi’s branch), then Parts 4 and 5 move to Afritalis, a level 30 system, before ending in Priya in Federation space. Afritalis comes up again in Survival of the Fittest, another level 30s chain with the Enterprise crew.

Donations are small. Geordi’s branch asks for 50,000 Parsteel and Part 4 asks for 10,000 Tritanium, both easy at level 31. Every named fight sits between about 294,000 and 357,000 enemy strength, so a ship ready for level 31 hostiles will manage. Part 3’s Orion Corvette fight happens at your Station, so you can repair right after it.

Part 4 is the strongest single payout, with 8,369,000 Parsteel and 1,231,000 Tritanium for one fight and a small donation. The Enterprise crew story leads in from Blind Data, and the full list of chains is on the Missionsleitfaden.

Are the Focal Point rewards worth it?

Yes. For four parts at level 31 you collect roughly 8.4M to 17M Parsteel depending on your Part 2 branch, more than 1.7M Tritanium, a 4 Hr Peace Shield and 3★ Uncommon Refined Crystal, plus either 254,000 Dilithium or 25 Latinum. The fights are fair for the level and the donations are small. The main effort is the warp 22 travel in the last two parts.
