Blind Data is a five-part mission chain in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you help Data track down a thief, follow the stolen goods through a black market to a buyer, and finally take back the memories and return Data to the Enterprise. It begins in Elva, every part is recommended for level 31, and warp to complete stays between 22 and 24. There are no officer shards here; the draw is 600 Premium Recruit Tokens in Part 5, 137,000 Officer XP in Part 4 and a steady run of Tritanium and Parsteel. It is a straightforward chain with one fight per part and two donations to prepare.

Blind Data Part 1
Data has a request: something has been stolen, and he needs help finding who took it. You meet him in Elva and chase the thief to Tejat.
- Meet with Data. (Elva)
- Track the thief. (Tejat)
- Confront the thief. (Tejat)
- Defeat the thief. (Tejat, enemy strength around 356,340)
The first three objectives are travel and story steps, so the only real work is the fight at the end. Warp to complete: 22. Recommended level: 31.
Rewards: 10 3★ Uncommon Refined Gas, 2,790,000 Parsteel.
Blind Data Part 2
The trail leads to a black market trader in Exchange Central. His mercenary gets in the way first, and the trader only talks after a 1M Tritanium donation. At warp 24, this is the longest trip in the chain.
- Find the black market. (Exchange Central)
- Defeat the mercenary. (Exchange Central, enemy strength around 344,145)
- Question the trader. (Exchange Central)
- Donate 1m Tritanium.
Warp to complete: 24. Recommended level: 31.
Rewards: 165,000 Dilithium, 70 1 Hour Speed Up, 50 15 Minute Repair Speed Up.
Blind Data Part 3
With the trader’s information, you confront the buyer in Shynna. A 10-hostile grind sits between finding the buyer and the fight itself.
- Find the buyer. (Shynna)
- Defeat 10 Hostiles of Level 29 or Higher.
- Defeat the buyer. (Shynna, enemy strength around 347,055)
- Kehren Sie zu Ihrer Station zurück.
The buyer is slightly weaker than the thief from Part 1, so the grind is the slower half of this part. Warp to complete: 22. Recommended level: 31.
Rewards: 792,000 Tritanium, 16 Latinum.
Blind Data Part 4
You go back to the buyer in Shynna. This time a 300,000 Dilithium donation comes before a fight with a smuggler, so bank the Dilithium before you leave your Station.
- Return to Shynna. (Shynna)
- Donate 300,000 Dilithium.
- Defeat the smuggler. (Shynna, enemy strength around 356,340)
- Kehren Sie zu Ihrem Bahnhof zurück.
Warp to complete: 22. Recommended level: 31.
Rewards: 1 4 Hr Peace Shield, 137,000 Officer XP, 879,000 Tritanium.
Blind Data Part 5
The last step is to take back the memories. You find the buyer’s base in Niawillen, disable a mysterious ship there and bring Data home to the Enterprise in Elva.
- Find the buyer’s base. (Niawillen)
- Confront the buyer. (Niawillen)
- Disable the mysterious ship. (Niawillen, enemy strength around 344,145)
- Return Data to the Enterprise. (Elva)
- Kehren Sie zu Ihrer Station zurück.
The chain ends where it started: after the fight in Niawillen you fly Data back to Elva, then return to your Station. Warp to complete: 22. Recommended level: 31.
Rewards: 600 Premium Recruit Token, 557,000 Tritanium.
Tips for completing Blind Data
Stockpile before you start. Part 2 needs 1M Tritanium and Part 4 needs 300,000 Dilithium, and both donations sit in the middle of their parts, so you cannot finish either part without them. The chain pays back well over 1M Tritanium across Parts 3 to 5.
Each part has one named fight, and all five sit in a narrow band from about 344,000 to 356,000 strength. A ship that beats the thief in Part 1 can handle everything after it.
The only hostile grind is in Part 3: 10 hostiles of level 29 or higher. Any hostile of that level counts, so clear them wherever is closest.
If you are short on Dilithium, run Parts 1 to 3 first and keep the 165,000 Dilithium from Part 2; with a little mining on top, that covers most of the Part 4 donation.
Warp is steady at 22, with a single jump to 24 for Exchange Central in Part 2. The 70 1 Hour Speed Ups and 50 repair speed-ups from that part are handy for the fights that follow.
Blind Data follows the Worlds Apart chain, and the story moves on to Focal Point when you finish. The Missionsleitfaden lists the rest.
Are the Blind Data rewards worth it?
It is worth running for the Ressourcen and the story link to Focal Point. You get 600 Premium Recruit Tokens, 137,000 Officer XP, 2.79 million Parsteel, over 2.2 million Tritanium, 165,000 Dilithium and a large batch of speed-ups. Against that you spend 1M Tritanium and 300,000 Dilithium on donations. There are no officer shards, so if you only chase Offiziere, it is a lower priority. For a level 31 commander moving through the story, the return is solid for five short parts.
