Fallen Sky is a KSG mission in Star Trek Fleet Command about a crumbling moon that threatens a KSG planet. You pick it up in Kur’than at warp 400, and the whole mission is completed at the same warp. There is no combat: you evacuate civilians, find Starfleet scientists and power their device with 27M Dilithium. The reward is a 5★ Common Interceptor Part and a KSG Datapad, plus Klingonisch standing. The Dilithium cost is the main thing to plan for.

Fallen Sky objectives

The story line is to prevent a crumbling moon from destroying a KSG planet. There are seven objectives and no choice split:

  • Investigate the incident. Location: Pterodasia.
  • Evacuate civilians. Location: Pterodasia.
  • Bring the civilians to safety. Location: Ariadexa.
  • Examine the moon. Location: Pterodasia.
  • Find the Starfleet scientists. Location: Miers.
  • Bring the device to KSG space. Location: Pterodasia.
  • Use 27M Dilithium to power the device.

Pterodasia is the hub of the mission. You return there three times: after the evacuation run to Ariadexa, and again after collecting the device from the scientists in Miers. The last step has no location, so you can pay the Dilithium as soon as it comes up.

Wo und welcher Warp

Fallen Sky is picked up in Kur’than and needs warp 400 to start and to complete. Every system on the route is inside that range.

The game lists a recommended level of 1, but warp 400 is the real entry bar. With no enemy listed, the 27M Dilithium payment is the only other requirement.

Fallen Sky rewards

Belohnung Amount
5★ Common Interceptor Parts 1
KSG Datapad 1
Klingon Credits 800
Klingon Points 2,900,000
Romulanisch Punkte -5,846,400

The Romulan Points loss comes with every KSG mission. See Fraktionsruf for how the Klingon and Romulan standings interact.

Fallen Sky and the other Kur’than missions

Kur’than is the pickup point for several KSG missions at the same warp. Here is how Fallen Sky compares:

Mission Warp to complete What it asks of you Main reward
Fallen Sky 400 travel steps and a 27M Dilithium payment 1 5★ Common Interceptor Parts
Cartographical 400 mine 100 5★ Kristall and defeat 14 hostiles of level 56+ 1,700 3 Hour Speed Ups
And All the Stars Will Die 400 four travel steps 210 15 Minute Repair Speed Ups
Hail the Glow Cloud I 400 one or two fights around 32 to 33 million strength 2,500 3 Hour Speed Ups or 1,700 15 Minute Repair Speed Ups

All four are picked up in Kur’than, and each also pays 1 KSG Datapad, 800 Klingon Credits and 2,900,000 Klingon Points while taking away 5,846,400 Romulan Points.

Fallen Sky costs more than the others to finish, because of the Dilithium, and its headline reward is a single ship part. It is worth running for the Datapad and the Klingon Points.

Tips

Stock 27M Dilithium before you accept the mission. Everything else is travel, so the payment is the only step that can stall you.

Plan the route around Pterodasia. The order is Pterodasia, Ariadexa, Pterodasia, Miers, Pterodasia, so a fast ship saves a lot of time over the five legs.

No fights means you can send a survey ship or any hull with warp 400. Other missions by level are on the mission guide.
