AI Unshackled II is the second mission in the KSG’s AI Unshackled storyline in Star Trek Fleet Command. After AI Unshackled I, you follow the rogue AI from ghuH zu Vehla and finally to a server farm in Avofall, where you fight the USS Evergreen. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 185 to complete. The reward is 6,422,500,000 Parsteel and 160 15 Minute Repair Speed Ups, and finishing it unlocks AI Unshackled III.
AI Unshackled II objectives
The story line is to track down and isolate the rogue AI. There are four objectives and no choice split:
- Stop the AI. Location: ghuH.
- Track down the AI. Location: Vehla.
- Find the server farm. Location: Avofall.
- Defeat the USS Evergreen. Location: Avofall. Enemy strength around 29.7 million.
The first three steps are a chase across three systems. The only fight is the USS Evergreen at the end, in the same system as the server farm.
Wo und welcher Warp
There is no pickup system. The mission appears at warp 1 after AI Unshackled I and needs warp 185 to complete, which is the lowest range in the storyline.
The game lists a recommended level of 1, but AI Unshackled I lists 54, and the USS Evergreen at around 29.7 million strength is the real test of your ship.

The Klingon and Romulan Points move in opposite directions, as they do in every KSG mission; the Fraktionsruf page explains the trade. Completing AI Unshackled II unlocks AI Unshackled III.

Each of the four also pays 800 Klingon Credits and 2,000,000 Klingon Points and takes away 3,888,000 Romulan Points. AI Unshackled I is picked up in Magnamia; the later parts appear at warp 1 as the previous one is finished.
Part II pays the most Parsteel of the four by a wide margin, and it has only one fight.
Tips
Travel light for the first three steps and arrive at Avofall repaired. The USS Evergreen is the only enemy, so one strong combat ship is enough.
The 160 repair speed ups add up to 40 hours of repair time, which is handy for AI Unshackled III, where you fight three ships in a row.
