And All the Stars Will Die

And All the Stars Will Die is a KSG science mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. A KSG scientist wants to understand Romulus’ sun, so you take them to Romulus and to two other dying stars for comparison. It is picked up in Kur’than at warp 400 and completed at the same warp. There are no fights and nothing to donate. The reward is 210 15 Minute Repair Speed Ups and a KSG Datapad, which makes it the easiest of the four Kur’than missions compared below.

And All the Stars Will Die objectives

There are four objectives and no choice split:

  • Bring the scientist to Romulus. Location: Romulus.
  • Examine a red sun. Location: Ishka’du.
  • Examine a decaying star. Location: Bell’eu.
  • Return to Romulus. Location: Romulus.

Every step is travel. You start and finish at Romulus, with Ishka’du and Bell’eu in between.

Wo und welcher Warp

The mission is picked up in Kur’than, and warp 400 is needed to start and to complete it.

The game lists a recommended level of 1. Since there are no hostiles, the warp 400 range is the only thing standing between you and the reward.

And All the Stars Will Die rewards

15 Minute Repair Speed Up 210
KSG Datapad 1
Klingonisch Kredite 800
Klingon Points 2,900,000

The 210 repair speed ups add up to 52 and a half hours of repair time. Like every KSG mission, it moves Klingon standing up and Romulan standing down; see Fraktionsruf for details.

All four are picked up in Kur’than, and each also pays 1 KSG Datapad, 800 Klingon Credits and 2,900,000 Klingon Points while taking away 5,846,400 Romulan Points.

This is the only mission of the four with no cost of any kind, no fights and no payment, which makes it the one to pick up first.

Tips

Send any ship that can reach warp 400. A survey ship finishes just as well as a battleship, and you can keep your combat ships free for other work.

Chain it with other travel at the same range. Ishka’du also appears in Cartographical, so you can plan the two runs together.

The KSG Datapad and 2,900,000 Klingon Points are the same as the harder Kur’than missions pay, so this is the cheapest way to collect them. Other missions by level are on the mission guide.
