Perpetual Growth is a Klingon faction mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you fulfil the Gorn’s contract to eliminate a colony of the Klingon Empire’s most hated enemy: Tribbles. It is picked up in Jiwu’puH, needs warp 37 to start and warp 40 to complete, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. After moving the Tribbles from Lankal zu Tejat, you decide their fate. One path pays 1,095,000 Dilithium, the other 54,000 Officer XP, and both add Klingon rewards and an Energy Manifold.
Perpetual Growth objectives
Everyone starts with the same three steps:
- Meet the Klingon cargo hauler at Qubui in Lankal. Location: Lankal.
- Take the Tribble population to the Tejat system. Location: Tejat.
- Decide how to deal with the Tribbles.
The third step is a choice split with two paths.
Klingon path: destroy the hauler
- Destroy the cargo hauler. Location: Tejat. Enemy strength is roughly 902,683.
Rewards: 1,095,000 Dilithium, 500 Klingon Credits, 100,000 Klingon Points, -118,400 Romulanisch Points, -44,400 Federation Points and 1 Energy Manifold.
Path 2: send the Tribbles away
- Send the Tribble cargo to Tilit. Location: Tejat.
Rewards: 54,000 Officer XP, 500 Klingon Credits, 100,000 Klingon Points, -118,400 Romulan Points, -44,400 Föderation Points and 1 Energy Manifold.

The mission is picked up in Jiwu’puH. It needs warp 37 to start and warp 40 to complete, so a ship that can accept it is only a short step from finishing it. Lankal and Tejat are the two systems where the objectives happen, and Tilit, where Path 2 sends the Tribbles, is in Tejat.
The recommended level shows as 1. The warp 40 finish is the real requirement, plus a fight at roughly 902,683 strength if you take the Klingon path.

Welchen Pfad du wählen solltest
The faction rewards and the Energy Manifold are the same on both paths, so the choice comes down to Dilithium or Officer XP, and whether you want a fight. Destroying the hauler means beating a ship at roughly 902,683 strength and pays 1,095,000 Dilithium. Sending the Tribbles to Tilit has no fight at all and pays 54,000 Officer XP.
If your combat ship can handle close to a million strength and Dilithium is holding up research or upgrades, the Klingon path is worth it. If you would rather skip the fight, or your Offiziere need levels, Path 2 is the easy option.
Tips
You can run the first two steps with any ship. Only the Klingon path has a fight, and it comes after the Tribbles reach Tejat, so bring a combat ship only if you plan to destroy the hauler.
