A Matter of Honor is an early Klingon-aligned mission in Star Trek Fleet Command, recommended for level 4. The Klingonen are hunting a band of Dissidents who have dishonored the Empire, and you track their ship to Tellun and beat the ambush waiting there. It can be picked up in any of twelve systems, and warp 5 covers both the start and the finish. The reward is small: 40 Klingon Points and 30 Tritanium, with minor losses to Federation and Romulan standing.
A Matter of Honor objectives
There are two objectives, in order, with no choice split:
- Locate the Dissident ship. Location: Tellun.
- Defeat the Dissident ambush. Location: Tellun. Enemy strength is roughly 669.
Both steps happen in Tellun. You fly there to find the Dissident ship, and the ambush that follows, at around 669 strength, is the only fight. Once it is beaten, the mission is complete.

A Matter of Honor can be accepted in twelve systems. Warp 5 is listed both to start and to complete, so any of them works:
Pick it up in whichever of these is closest to you, then head for Tellun. The recommended level is 4.

Tips
Bring whatever combat ship you have. The Dissident ambush is around 669 strength, which is a modest fight even for an early ship, and it is the only one in the mission.
Treat it as a story step. The loot is light, only 30 Tritanium, and the reputation changes are small in both directions. Finishing it matters mostly because it unlocks the next mission.
If you are tracking faction standing, note the direction. You gain 40 Klingon Points but lose 3 Federation Points and 15 Romulan Points.
Plan one trip. Both objectives are in Tellun, so fly there once, find the ship and win the fight before heading home.
