A Deadly Pattern is a Star Trek Fleet Command mission where you try to reach a colony before it is wiped out. The game lists a recommended level of 1, it starts at warp 1 and needs warp 160 to complete, and there are no fights: you investigate the latest disappearance in Unarri, report to Starfleet at Avofall and go home. The reward is 180 4★ Gemeinsame Explorer Parts and 180 4★ Common Battleship Parts, and it unlocks Shared Hope.
A Deadly Pattern objectives
Three objectives, no choice split:
- Investigate the latest colony disappearance. Location: Unarri.
- Speak with Starfleet regarding the colonies. Location: Avofall.
- Kehren Sie zu Ihrer Station zurück.
Colonies have been vanishing, and this mission is where the pattern becomes clear. You look into the latest disappearance at Unarri and take what you find to Starfleet at Avofall.
Wo und welcher Warp
You can accept it at warp 1. Warp 160 is needed to complete it, since Unarri and Avofall are both far out.
The recommended level is 1. No hostile is listed, so warp 160 is the whole requirement.
The route is Unarri, then Avofall, then home. Each system is visited once.

All three share the warp 160 finish, so one ship with that range can run the whole stretch. Each pays something different: Parsteel, then ship parts, then recruitment and Officer XP.
Tips
Use a non-combat ship with the range. Nothing attacks you, so a survey or mining hull that reaches warp 160 finishes it and keeps your Schlachtschiffe free.
The parts split evenly between Explorer and Battleship classes. If you only fly one of those, half the reward will sit in inventory until you build a ship that uses it.
The story carries on in Shared Hope, where the next task is to work with the Investigator. A Deadly Pattern is the step where the disappearances are first taken to Starfleet.
This is one of the quickest Missionen in its warp range, with just two stops and no donations. Clear it as soon as you have warp 160, then move on to Shared Hope.
