A Day Out is a level 46 mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you help an elderly Klingon, Katir, on her day out. It is picked up in Odin at warp 150 and needs warp 150 to complete. You collect supplies, take Katir to her grandson, deal with the bullies in Izbrig and bring her home. The fights are 13 hostiles of level 44 or higher and Warlord Thrall at about 7.2 million strength. The reward is 225,867,000 Parsteel and 190 3 Hour Speed Ups.

A Day Out objectives

Six objectives, no choice split:

  • Pick up the supplies. Location: X5-TKV.
  • Bring Katir to her grandson. Location: Lu’Kash.
  • Find the “bullies” at Izbrig.
  • Defeat 13 hostiles of level 44 or higher.
  • Defeat Warlord Thrall. Location: Izbrig (enemy strength about 7,227,080).
  • Return Katir to her grandson. Location: Lu’Kash.

It starts as an errand run: supplies from X5-TKV, then Katir to Lu’Kash. The bullies she mentions turn out to be in Izbrig, and after a round of hostiles you face Warlord Thrall. The last step takes Katir back to her grandson.

Wo und welcher Warp

A Day Out is picked up in Odin and needs warp 150 to start and to complete.

The recommended level is 46. The hostiles must be level 44 or higher, and Warlord Thrall at over 7 million strength is the main fight.

Lu’Kash is visited twice, once to drop Katir off and once at the end. Izbrig is where all the fighting happens.

Tips

Clear the 13 hostiles around Izbrig. You need to be there anyway for Thrall, so hunting in the same system saves travel.

Repair before Thrall. The hostile count will wear your ship down, and the Warlord is a much bigger fight than any of them.

The Parsteel reward is very large for a level 46 mission. Over 225 million helps with the Parsteel side of upgrades in the mid-40s, and the 190 3 Hour Speed Ups add up to 570 hours.

Katir is a passenger for the whole mission, and the story is light: a grandmother’s errands that end with you settling a score for her in Izbrig.

The first two steps have no combat, so you can run them with any ship that reaches warp 150 and switch to a combat ship for Izbrig if you prefer.
